iOS 26.2 support VoNR for Singtel and it's MVNO users, remember to turn it on to prepare for true 5G SA experience next year.
Wait. What do you mean by True 5G SA next year? Isn't Singtel MNO already on 5G SA?

My Singtel S$15.28 SIM Only plan seems to be able to connect to China Mobile 5G network but I do not use it for roaming data. I only use it for receiving SMS. I use SIMBA S$12 plan for China roaming data and roaming voice.

I rejected two voice calls from Singapore and called back using SIMBA.

Let's see what is the roaming voice charge this months.

Hi,
Currently, I have 4 ST mobile lines(contract ending in 2 days). If I apply for the SOP $15.28 for all the 4 lines through the link. What is the likelihood that Singtel will approve all the 4 lines(all lines under the same name)?

Very likely they will approve all four.

That will be best. Does it matters if 3 of the lines are currently mobileshare lines? From your experience, how soon do you get the reply from them?
Not so sure about mobileshare lines. But I tend to believe they will still approve.

They will reply within three working days by sending your the service agreement through email.

I'll put in my applications on the 18 Dec(last day of contract).
Thanks. :)

Logically it's an upgrade from MobileShare to SOP plan thus, should be accepted.

What will be the current best solution for me as I am looking for a sim card/ Esim to provide me with a second phone number to create new accounts like telegram/we chat that requires number verification.
No data, talktime etc required, just number for verification, receive OTP.

@xiaofan

Hi all. I have the $15.xx Singtel plan (SIM 1) and $8 Eight plan (SIM 2). SIM 1 data roaming off. SIM 2 data roaming ON. Im in Philippines now and cannot receive SMS/OTP on SIM 1. Why?

Solved:

Found out DATA ROAMING (NETWORK) in Singtel app was OFF. Switching it ON solved the problem.
Looking at the above scenario, does it mean that when we want to receive calls and text on our roaming Singtel line, we've to turn on DATA ROAMING even when ROAMING DATA is set from another line?

TBH, I find it strange having to turn on DATA ROAMING when we're not specifically going to use that feature.

Then it is an okay choice. Caller ID is free.

Some other users choose to go with Enhanced Core at S$40 for one month, then recontract to the S$15.28 plan (12 months contract).
I'm playing with the thought of porting a line to eventually sit on the $15.28 plan, since Maxx 5G is minimum $12 now. It's going to be a supporting line for Simba in same iPhone.

So from above, I port to the $40 no contract plan, then one month later submit an application for the $15.28 one? (What I'm afraid is that, instead of rejecting my application after which I'd port out to Maxx, they'd throw the line into the $20.37 contract plan. Happened to a friend who's given the more expensive contract though he applied for $15.28, though they later admitted it's a mistake and rectified it.)

Or should I just forget it and port directly to Maxx $12 5G?
