each order they earned $2. imagine the amount they get with tons of orders.
I suspected the commission may be higher. I remembered once I top up $10 for Simba at a retail shop, I happened to have a glimpse of the amount they were charged by their app, $9. So the commission should be 10% if all telcos is paying same percentage, then $88 transaction should pocket them $8.80. But those with Shopee platform with voucher and coins I dunno whether there will be additional expenses incurred for them.

Can anyone confirm if the above is still applicable? i.e. can downgrade without any charges?
Noticed that the above has been removed from the FAQ link.
Yeah i cant seem to find the change of plans as well in their FAQs.

Not sure if they going to make changes, hopefully for the better.

Singtel MVNO charges for downgrade plans e.g Zym and Z1.

I checked again. Eight is not subsidiary of StarHub but just a MVNO which is a separate company that leases StarHub network. 😅
Eight is definitely under StarHub as they report it in their Q3 2025 business update

Eight's Terms and Conditions document already mentioned the word Starhub twice. You can press Ctrl+F and search for it.

According to the definitions on the last page, "us," "we," and "our" are defined as Starhub Mobile Pte Ltd.
Lol easy mah, i checked my AMEX and it's paid to Starhub Ltd, so eight is under StarHub loh :D
