For 5G only n1 & n78 at this point. n28 might be another one.a n00b question
Which n zero1 or singtel MVNOs will use ?
5G NR: n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n26/n28/n38/n40/n41/n66/n77/n78
Over time more might be added.

So true, I rather the telcos are able to provide constant 10mbps connection all the time instead of roller coaster connection especially in congested areas and peak hours. Any speed more than that for mobile usage is just superficial and is just a number game.relax ah, anything more than 50mbps can you realistically feel the difference in everyday browsing?

Coverage > latency > bandwidth for most day to day use.
Yet we keep praising about the glory of 5G, this is not even quite important comparatively. Now the reality is none of the Mobile service providers will pass the "constant 10 Mbps connection" test, including Singtel.
You have to lower the expectations for congested areas during peak hours, maybe down to "have connection and can browse HWZ forum". Just forget about 10 Mbps and smooth YouTube streaming for a while in such case.
Then in some lifts you just have to put the Mobile phone inside the pocket for a while and accept that it is okay to have no signals in the some lifts.
10 Mbps download speed is a very good benchmark value for most use cases, unless for the use case to replace fibre Broadband.
Then upload speed is another important factor for contents creators who wants to upload contents on the go (but the upload speed is in general slow).
It’s important. When i launch my mobile game and realise i need to download latest patch. 5G reduces my angst time.Yet we keep praising about the glory of 5G, this is not even quite important comparatively.![]()

Hmm... downloading large files are not a big priority compared to daily constant connection for sure. If the connection is good, 4G is as speedy for downloading purpose too. It’s important. When i launch my mobile game and realise i need to download latest patch. 5G reduces my angst time.![]()
Well, from business perspective it is true, but as individual, we are definitely con into believing that without 5G, mobile users will be left far behind. Telcos are trying to pool resources from us to fund 5G and future 6G which are totally over-spec for our usage purpose, that is their main purpose. We become the milk cow which is supposedly be the business entities to fund them instead. From the three main aspects of 5G, we are mostly focused on eMBB side. But the other two aspects may be more important in the long run (business use cases).
I tend to think the industry players have not really found the killer use cases for eMBB yet. 4K video does not need 5G, 4G LTE is enough. VR/AR and Metaverse are not really popular. AI on the edge does not need 5G either.
1) eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband) for speed (VR/AR, 4K video)
2) uRLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication) for critical responsiveness (autonomous cars, remote surgery)
3) mMTC (Massive Machine-Type Communication) for connecting huge numbers of devices (smart cities, IoT sensors)
But how many of us are not content creater, and I can assure you content creaters arguably being business entities will go the route of iPhone Pro Max package not the lower tier offering. Now the reality is none of the Mobile service providers will pass the "constant 10 Mbps connection" test, including Singtel.

Yes. Not a big priority but is like more money in pocket. You don’t necessarily have to spend everything but probably just need $10 each time for your meals at hawker centre or food court. However when you do need it for better quality meals, your upper limit isn’t limited (like 4G). You can afford (5G) at restaurants la.Hmm... downloading large files are not a big priority compared to daily constant connection for sure. I have sent the email to IMDA with Zero1 in copy.
Leaving this here for reference
I received 2x +65 calls while in taiwan this month. Of course did not answer. Just muted the ringing and let it time out. Received my bill and no idd charges.
So to say if never answer, there will not be charges?I received 2x +65 calls while in taiwan this month. Of course did not answer. Just muted the ringing and let it time out. Received my bill and no idd charges.
But someone claims if the phone rings, one will be charged even if dun do anything. Weird right? Haha.
It is what it is I wrote. So to say if never answer, there will not be charges?
