say I ordered XYZ electronic item from Hardly Normal.
he wanted to verify that I purchase this item and cited got a lot of these occurrences ( someone use my name to order ).
said my name correctly. but I denied it.
he ended with don't blame him if my CC kena billed.
then I cup the phone?

Anything that I should do or be concerned of?

Just don’t waste time answering unknown calls.
I don’t think most retail stores got this kind of call verification though..

Should be scammer, no legit representative is going to say "don't blame him if my CC kena billed." because they're not going to care as they're just a regular employee. You can always ask the bank to cancel/reject those transactions if it appears on your CC.

The more you talk to them the more information they have on you. Just hang up, no need to entertain such calls.

i don't pick up unknown number calls

maybe if same number call me twice, then maybe will consider picking up

this reduces most scam calls already

If you didn't order anything. Nothing to concern as long as no personal details shared.
