just an update that I just received (6 Oct) the full surrender amount (including accrued interest) based on date of closure on 4 Oct. so the turnaround time is 2 working days after the account is emptied.

you must be one of the 'pioneers' .. mine only reached end of 6 years at end 2026.

in any case, can WhatsApp them to inform them of termination.

Mine only finish in end Aug 2026.

From the high of 4% tbill rates that made you zzz your money is stuck there, to now being more than happy for it to last longer

Nice, thanks for sharing. There's a small surrender charge of 0.1% (after 6 years) right? Surrender charge drops to 0% after 7 years but no point since it drops to prevailing credit rate after 6 years.

1 day after 6 years ( not 7 yrs ), Surrender charge is 0%.

Between 5 and 6 yrs, Surr Charge is 0.1%
