let's share in this thread when we receive the eligible notification. cheapskate united.
warning: unlike saveplus and income, gold is a very risky investment. the gold fund is also super new with no track record. dont be penny wise pound foolish.

And also, usual advise of up to 10% of total portfolio in Gold.
As for me, will DCA till 5% of my total portfolio before retirement.

ps: was about to buy the equivalent in POEMS and saw that it's available in Maribank, so may as well (to gian the $18).

MIS = Kayaking at Punggol Waterway
MII = Cruise ship sailing at high seas
MIG = Alaskan crab fishing in the Bering Sea

Seems like quite a few Alaskan crab fishermen here. I salute you! 👏

Life jacket is always required no matter what the risk appetite is. But drop into Bering Sea I think 10x life jackets are also useless. :ROFLMAO:

I only read about getting the $18 by end Feb if we're among 5000
Hopefully got notifications
Is this for mig? Meaning only first 5000 will get this $18-28?

Anyway i think very risky to earn only $18 or $28. Price swing in 1 day can be more than 2.8% and it's already at ATH. Worse of all, u have no control what price to sell

That's why the suggested up to 10% of total portfolio. Commodities such as gold has its function.

Like tikam. After 1 month will know if it's worth it. It already stated high risk. But if one die die don't want to cut lose, hold donkey years still will gain one. Cos Gold will shine forever ✨️ ultimately
(That's my own thought. NFA)
Overall I still believe in holding real solid gold though.

Anyone bought Mari Invest Gold yesterday before 0859 will get the NAV posted today, currently at 1.0213. Bought after that time will get the NAV tomorrow. After 1200 will know the NAV.

MIG's NAV is even more lagging than MII's NAV.

Very hard to buy sampan tickets at good price. Might as well gamble at spot rate (instant) on 1:1 leverage with futures account.

ditto. Its a gold fund, if willing to iron hands i dont see any possible loss out of it longterm-wise. in any case its just a 1k investment

For a moment I thought you have received the notification for Gold. I somehow missed reading your this post earlier on.

Gold isn't new. It is just new on this fund. I usually look at SPDR Gold ETF to aga aga guage the price. These 2 days the price is at ATH. There's a likelihood the price may lower in coming month but we can just leave it and wait it out if it failed to climb further. Then we can form a marigold die hard club here. :ROFLMAO: but of course we hope it break it's ATH price to go even higher, which many of us believe it can, given horizon.

Wait. Gold doesnt generate dividend. It doesnt automatically provide capital appreciation. Should make sure your other portfolio assets are allocated before using gold as final 'hedge'.
