I emailed eight but no reply from them.

That's why always do your homework.Thanks. I just read. It seems one can terminate the service post 30 days of sign up. So maybe I cannot port out yet.
I port in from zero1 like on 18 dec but the network is really slow. Most of the time I get less than 10 Mbps, on zero1 I got like 80mbps. Both networks are on 4G. And in JB its horribly slow, almost non existent.
How to test without porting in first?

this helps alot.It is okay, the good thing about all these no contract plans is that you can always port out or terminate if not happy.
eight 4G (using StarHub 4G network) is quite congested. So you may get issues if you compare it to SingTel 4G network (still with a bit of congestion but much better than StarHub 4G network).
I have tested eight S$8 4G plan (still keeping as a backup and also for roaming) and CUniq S$9.9 4G plan (terminated) to draw the conclusion about StarHub 4G network congestion.
Then I tested SingTel hi! S$10 4G Postpaid plan to compare.
M1 4G network is also less congested compared to StarHub 4G network, based on my testing of M1 Maxx and Circles.Life 5G plan in 4G mode.
If you still want to try eight, upgrade to the S$14.8 plan to see if it better or not. My limited test of StarHub Prepaid S 5G plan shows StarHub 5G network is way better than StarHub 4G network, but YMMV, since there are both good and bad reports of user experiences here.
If not, just port out, for example, go back to SingTel MVNOs' 4G plan at about S$10 which comes with 180 days of free 5G trial.
There’s no problem porting out within 30 days. Maybe is cannot terminate within 30 days.Thanks. I just read. It seems one can terminate the service post 30 days of sign up. So maybe I cannot port out yet.

you should be able to buy more roaming data https://www.eight.com.sg/plan-add-ons. No such thing as reset the plan to my understanding ..Let say in China, bought the $18 plan then ran out of data. How to restart a new $18 plan immediately to get data?
Upgrade is start immed, downgrade is next cycle. This case is not upgrade.

Ok. In that case, give an hack for data roaming. Go for 2nd highest plan if yr roaming data going to be a lot. Upgrade to highest plan to get immediate data. If you started with highest, you are stuck.you should be able to buy more roaming data https://www.eight.com.sg/plan-add-ons. No such thing as reset the plan to my understanding ..

Good solution. If your device supports eSIM, you can just order an additional SIM online.
cannot beat the $88 for $88 1 for 1 promo. which effective $4 for 388GB 4G plan even not considering any additional shopee top up discount.
Judging from the pattern of eight and SIMBA, both will have one for one top-up offer later.
So you can always top up more next time.
Hi both and all, there was a top up promotion before this $88 1 for 1 promotion. Anyone still remember what is that promotion ah? Thanks!
