This week 凡人修仙传 episode is weird

any news on when the next season starts?

Should be April 2026 and later.

They were focusing on the movie and hence they did not start producing the next season. Now that the movie has completed production, they are going back to the anime series. To keep viewers interested, they are released some info for the next season. Like how the new characters would look like, Fans are waiting eagerly for the return of 南宫婉 (韩立's wife). The problem with 凡人 is that the storyline is very heavy on the lead character 韩立. All other characters have very little presence in the novel. Just popping up here and there. 南宫婉 character has not been seen in the anime for almost 3 years. The producer is struggling on whether they should fatefully follow the storyline or increase certain characters appearance. Bound to have happy and unhappy audiences.

The anime is poorly directed with certain scenes poorly explained which it makes it confusing to those who never read the novel.

They want to portray the main character as a self sacrificing, good hearted person who had suffered alot of injuistice and grievences since he was a child, to make viewers pity and like him

Instead, they made the character feels unrealistic, a super 烂好人 whose behaviour and actions would make you cringe and instantly roll your eyes in disbelief. He behave in super shy and stupid manner in front of girls but becomes a different person when dealing with enemies, ruthless and scheming. It's disgusting to watch

Very poorly executed for such a big budget anime.

even 诛仙 is more watchable than this crap

season 2 quite funny. the small kid scold him a few times. 干你娘，阿良 lol.

Anyway, yea 剑来 very hard to understand. I have to keep referring to baidu to understand more, but as i understand more, i appreciate the anime as well. Those ppl that purely watched 剑来 confirm will blur 1. Dunno what the story is about.

Currently watching quite a few anime like 凡人，剑来，仙逆，遮天，牧神记. Last time watching 斗破 but i gave up already, the story already 魔改 till i cant watched it anymore. They trying to destroy this 斗破 anime seriously

凡人修仙传 is my favorite of all the China Anime series. I have also listened to the book. Some of my other preferred china anime that I watched in the past:

These series below has very good start and now become a bit stale. Worth watching the first few seasons:

I watching anime so still havent have a few thousand characters la lol. Anyway just agar agar can liao la. can always refer to baidu wiki.

Anyway i watching 凡人，剑来，仙逆，遮天，牧神记, all these shows so many characters watch till my brain CPU toasted already. How to remember lol. Thats why i always go baidu wiki to recall back my memory on characters.

Sometimes i also confused will mixed up the story, cuz 1 time watch so many different chinese anime.

Ya last time i listen 斗破 audiobook. takes very long sia like 3-4 months to finish.

Can understand not used to donghua style. Can try this anime style donghua. Really fun show but only 1 season and no news of season 2

逆仙 started out pretty interesting but subsequently suffered from the usual exponential power scaling of animes and other series. There were moments where he had to start from ground zero but usually clears within a episode or 2. BTW Ep 123 is just out as of now.

Meanwhile also catching《斩神之凡尘神域》/ Slay The Gods.
