Shopee sellers start to offer the Singtel hi! Wallet balance top-up services for SingTel hi! 4G postpaid plans, for those prefer to use online services but do not want to use credit card.

What is Singtel hi! wallet?

Singtel hi! wallet refers to your charging account, with which you can purchase new Singtel hi! plan or any Singtel hi! Add-on pack with credits in the account.

You can top up your Singtel hi! Account wallet credits in denominations of $10 for 60 days validity or $30 / $50 for 180 days validity through the Singtel hi! app or Singtel hi! authorised retailers.

Haha, you really like heya so that you have four heya lines.

After the migration you only keep one Singtel hi! 4G postpaid line.

To me both heya and Singtel hi! S$12/S$10 plans may not be popular.

SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans around S$10 makes more sense with 180 days free 5G trial.

Or go with SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans at around S$7 since they are cheaper.

Only the S$5 hi! senior plan may be attractive if the users have concerns about the quality of eight S$5 4G senior plan (eight 4G is quite congested) and SIMBA S$5 senior plan (SIMBA coverage and speed are not great).

Not so much as like but rather, Singtel network.
I kept one because of the number XBCBCBYB. This one likely will move to 5G with M1.
I already have Zym 4G/5G and Eight 4G - Just waiting for the Zym to revoke the 5G and also likely upgrade Eight 4G to 5G if i decide to go for Eight's fiber BB.

Maybe wait for promo again.

I have tested SingTel hi! for some time (S$10 per month port-in offer, using Singtel 4G network).

I would not use it my main line based on my own testing results. The user experience is significant worse than SingTel SIM Only S$15.28 5G plan and Circles.Life 5G free trial (also worse than M1 Maxx 5G plan).

I will port out soon to try out CMLink.

That being said, it is still better than eight 4G and CUniq 4G for local usage (both use StarHub 4G network with quite a bit of congestion issues).

Actually Singtel itself (not including sub-brands like Gomo or SingTel hi!) has no 4G PostPaid plans.

SingTel hi! PostPaid plan (this thread) is the replacement for heya but more than heya as it has the new S$5 senior plan.

I see, you mean you have legacy SingTel mobile 4G postpaid plan.

That should be a bit better than heya and SingTel hi! 4G plan as it may well have higher priority.

My testing were not conclusive that it has higher priority.

Looks like there were good reasons to go with SingTel heya last time, not so sure any good reasons to go with SingTel hi! 4G plan at S$12 or S$10 (port-in offer) now.

I tend to think SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans at around S$10 are better as they come with 180 days or 6 months free 5G trial and better roaming bundle like 12GB Asia Roaming (13 locations).

iIRC, it was CL which shook the traffic lights up who were charging exorbitant prices.

I stayed with them for many years from the time they gave free trial to when they changed $5 a month.

3rd quarter of last year, Singtel fought back with a Heya Plan. Free for 6 months, $5 per month after that. 200GB local data, 200GB roaming data. Plus talk time and SMS which I am very unlikely to use.

Meanwhile CL was still giving 20GB.

I ported my number to Heya.

The package I got was better than any of the above for both price and data, including roaming data.

I took it as a very good gesture on Singtel's part because when you celebrate SG60, you remember that Singapore has come this far because of the blood, sweat and tears of the older generation. Charging them a token $5 for them to watch YouTube is a good way to let them enjoy the last lap of their life.

Then this may not be the cheapest plan.

Easier is to use M1 Maxx Base plan. Port your number to M1 Maxx plan at the physical shop (say at S$10), then stop paying after that and it will fall to the M1 Maxx Base plan. You just need to keep the plan active by sending one SMS every month.

Do not use online as that will make the plan a recursive one.

As per the report from M1 Maxx thread, this is still working as of now.
