I bought it at $299 for 8/256gb yesterday on shopee. Now on Lazada it's $279.72. Wasted $20.

Hopefully able to disable the ads via msa etc, which is very annoying.
Xiaomi/POCO ads removal
You can mostly remove ads from Xiaomi phones by disabling MSA. Go to Settings > Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock > Authorization & revocation. Find MSA and toggle it off. Confirm by hitting Revoke.

Just keep in mind this will only remove system ads. You'll need to turn off ads from other services and Xiaomi apps to clean up your overall experience.

Dunno whether M8 Pro is curved screen or not but M8 definitely is..
Finally went past a Xiaomi store and saw Redmi Note 15 pro+ was curved, only the regular pro was flat
So M8 Pro would be curved too, but more like those quad curve rather than the full

Quite confusing since a number of reviews for the Redmi mentioning flat

Ya they are slightly curved... so Poco M8 Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 15 Pro+?

her kiddo using it and loving it..replaced her fruit 7 phone.
Ic... wat's gd about the M8 series is that the Poco logo is now much smaller... usually the "C" and "M" series phones all have big big Poco logo... the X7 the logo also quite big... first time I see "X" series the logo so big...

Stick to real phones safer for US, their network band very limited
i spent 20 yrs there.. XM phones work there 100%.. that said..i have my kiddo use her Pixel 9a there...faster speeds than my 15U. Google phones for some reason..super optimized there...oh wait..maybe cuz she also using my Google Fi sim...really awesome speeds even on T-Mobile. XM = real phone. won't use Honor or VIVO etc in USA tho
