hmm location wise its the same as my previous nokia router.

cables might be worth exploring. but with a quick search, seems like generally nobody else has such issues, maybe will just call the SH technician down to take a look.

biggest worry is when they come down i cannot replicate the issue lol.
Yeah, which is why I recommend troubleshooting to figure out what might be the problem.
Otherwise, SH later going to bring up the "charges" if technicians were to come down and not find any issues....

Have you try to disable ipv6 first?

Just tested after seeing your post.

Doesn't make a diff lol.

Google maps loading slowly with the notice saying weak Internet.

Grab takes like 20-30 seconds to load when I kill and open the app.

But it's only these selected and random apps/websites.

Netflix streaming all no issues. Very weird.

Might be worth a try switching back to the old nokia router to rule out Starhub backend as the problem and confirm that it is router hardware or configuration issue.

was thinking QOS is the culprit.. i may be wrong also

Never do anything to QOS. What should I set it as ah?

DNS i using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1.

update: just checked, QOS not enabled.

Unfortunately they took back the old Nokia router after setting up the new one.

No idea why is the 6G network so "weak". Or is it my mobile phone is too old and it will suck when connecting to these newer stuff :s22:
6Ghz inherently is weaker as it has shorter range and lower wall penetration compared to 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz.
If your mobile can connect to 6Ghz then shouldn't be that old to begin with.

Just wondering, can these starhub routers work with other providers?

has the openvpn issue fixed?
Looks like not fixed.
I am trying to set up OpenVPN for remote access to NAS. Mgt to set up OpenVPN via EB810V but client can't even connect to router homepage. Keeps getting 406 error msg.

Anyone found a workaround? Grateful if can share. Many thanks.

i bought this router from carousell, and that time i was on singtel ISP, im getting error connecting to my openvpn..

then i now switch ISP to starhub, and magically im able to connect... i oso not sure what happen...
my theory is maybe when im connected to starhub network, the router able to update and it fixes the issue...

can ask ure on which isp network?
