Without prior soldering experience, might be a little bit hard for you but not impossible. Maybe watch a few youtube tutorials first.
Alternatively, you can try to clean and replace the white disc of the potentiometer. Seem to fixed the drift for a lot people from the videos I watched.
My OG controller also suffer from drifting, in need of servicing. Too lazy to do the all the de-soldering/soldering works.

Thanks! I'll find time to try this method first before deciding to buy TMR analog to replace.

Sad, my controller is experiencing very bad stick drift now. But I've used it for 3 years, good while it lasted. Should I get a new set or try to DIY and replace it with hall effect joystick? Anyone DIY before, was it manageable? I don't have soldering experience but I could try borrowing from family.
Did you try blowing into the analog sticks' gaps? Try moving the sticks around while doing that. Sounds crazy but it worked for me. I just got a little stick drift (red DS, 2nd gen) last night and it worked again after this remedy.

Anyone playing Silent Hill 2 remake? I have never played the original SH2 and the other titles in the 00's. Only SH1, 3 and 4. As far as my memory serves me, 3 is great and 4 has a very interesting concept of being stuck in a room with a portal leading elsewhere.

I've been enjoying SH2 remake so far. Glad to have just started off with this version. That haunting iconic static radio, just wanna find the enemy quickly and shut it quiet. Haha.

SH2 - 21% in and just stepping into the "Otherworld". I finally saw the iconic Pyramid Head while hiding inside the closet. That scene looks like Mr Pyramid is doing "something questionable" to one of the strange mannequin creatures.

SH1 - I remember the crying kid hiding inside the cubicle toilet and the short creatures walking around in the dark classrooms. The hospital area is quite creepy too. Good, a remake is much needed for its atmosphere to be more pronounced, and of course, the graphics overhaul.

Final Nioh 3 DEMO to drop today at SGT 8AM.

Earn the same item reward (in alpha demo previously) post completion with your progress on saved file for continuation during its release on 6 Feb 2026.

I didn't manage to complete the alpha demo due to work. If you already did, then no reward for this demo.

Nioh 3 demo was good but the retail price of $116 for base version is crazy

Koei Tecmo can fo
It's at a more-than-average price (a bummer clearly) but I don't think it is expensive enough for players to wait for a price drop and play later. I am still going to play it D1 anyways. Personally, I have enjoyed a ton of time on Nioh 1 and 2 when they were given as free games on PS+, which exceeds their worth already. However, it'll be a slight deterrence for those who are going to try it for the first time.

I would say, just hold on for a good few months for a possible price drop or wait out even longer and it may be a PS+ free game eventually, like its predecessors.
