now this card most bang for buck?
driver issues so far ok? (for normal windows amd pc, light gaming)

I have this card. Driver is OK, but compared to nvidia or AMD its quite bare. not much for you to tweak

The catch is on the Resizable BAR thing - your system needs to be relatively modern, and has this function that you can turn on in BIOS (the driver will prompt u if u didnt have it turned on)

another small thing is the idle power draw - also needs to turn on ASPM settings in BIOS and also in Windows. However your mileage may vary - cos it works on my Intel system, but not on my AMD system. Not sure why.

This thread lasted longer than Raja Koduri's duration in Intel

is intel an real alternative or just here to earn our money?
Drivers and stability issues all ok for me so far since 6 months after I bought my A770, only performance issues left.

But then due to the amount of AAA slop games, it gets better with age as we all start playing older games on discount and game devs start patching their games to support XeSS

AAA game - last 2 years only BF6, AC: Shadows & Dragon Age Veilguard (I refunded those last 2 games due to the overall low quality and terrible storyline/writing of the game). Highguard also, if you consider that as AAA (LOL!).
Older games - Doom (2016), System Shock (remastered), Helldivers 2 (wow so fast 2 years liao), Deep Rock Galactic, Persona 3 Reload

Main bulk of games mostly indie games like The Alters, Hell Is Us and CO:E33

PS: I bought my A770 in Dec 2022, just a few months after official launch FYI

wtf this B580, once i install the driver itself, i keep getting BSOD. at first i tried DDU then install arc driver. BSOD. Then i reformatted my PC and installed windows, then install arc driver. same issue again.

1. PC can post and boot to windows (can hear sound) but absolutely no display
2. for info, Z390I Strix + i5 9600k +32 gb 3600 mhz DDR4 ram, 1000w psu
3. Bios updated to latest version, rebar ON, 4G decoding on, CSM off
4. tried cold swapping to activate PCIE lanes using old GPU and then switch back to B580, doesn't work

is there anything i am missing out? on the verge of returning this GPU already.

Bruh sorry to say this but with a CPU that old, the B580 might not run properly. With that said, there are other options to tweak it so that at least it boots into Windows with a working display.

I did have similar issues (literally once the driver is installed, BSOD) with my build on Zen 3 architecture, it wasn't until I turned some virtualization and/or secure boot settings off in the BIOS that fixed the issue.

Also the no-display problem, turn off iGPU in BIOS if possible, or force graphics init to PCI-E devices first.
