Eight is more aggressive in this area leh... people sign up for years. Haha.

And simba is a telco regulated directly by the govt. Eight is a mvno. Dunno if they r regulated as rigid as a telco.

eight is a wholely owned subsidiary of Starhub.

I would not worry about this.

One of the reasons I abit apprehensive to port to their 4G plan and stay on simba. From recent feedback here I see they might be deprioritizing bandwidth on their $8 plan.

Your $56 will be treated as 2x top up and get $16.

This was the norm for eight during previous top up so likely same applies for this

Just to share, just did the top up at clementi central shop. I did the $56 top up, top up came in as 28 + 28 + 2. The guy said the other $16 will come in within 7 working days.

Unless SIMBA cuts back on their generous roaming offering, eight can realistically only raise the price of their monthly plans by $1 or $2 to match SIMBA.

Otherwise they may choose to brand their network prioritisation like Singtel, and introduce higher tier eight plans beyond the $20 segment.

For $8 plan, should only have taiwan

SK only available on 5G plan

if select physical card can collect the SIM card later which the port in process will only start after collected SIM card rite?
