Thank u! Hahah the Main Balance option doesn't show up on my small mobile screen until I manually swipe
Good question, why don't ask the same question on SIMBA thread as well?Is this a scam job. Borrow future money to live. Will close down if people stop topping up? Im just thinking aloud.
Eight is more aggressive in this area leh... people sign up for years. Haha.Good question, why don't ask the same question on SIMBA thread as well?![]()

And simba is a telco regulated directly by the govt. Eight is a mvno. Dunno if they r regulated as rigid as a telco.
One of the reasons I abit apprehensive to port to their 4G plan and stay on simba. From recent feedback here I see they might be deprioritizing bandwidth on their $8 plan.Let's see how eight can grow the ARPU and carry out monetisation in 2026.
1) Maybe we will not see one-for-one top-up offer any more, unless SIMBA does that again.
2) Maybe there will be some VAS down the road.
3) eight is also trying to hide the S$8 Double Eight plan from the users. They are trying to promote the 5G plans.

You need to click "Shop all" to show the S$8 plan.

Extra $16Anyone knows whether if we do a one-time topup of $56, do we get extra $8 or $16 credits?
Your $56 will be treated as 2x top up and get $16.Anyone knows whether if we do a one-time topup of $56, do we get extra $8 or $16 credits?
Still, have to be thankful considered many have missed the boat.now regret not to top up more during the $88 promo.![]()
Unless SIMBA cuts back on their generous roaming offering, eight can realistically only raise the price of their monthly plans by $1 or $2 to match SIMBA.Let's see how eight can grow the ARPU and carry out monetisation in 2026.
For $8 plan, should only have taiwanJust curious - For those on $8 plan, does your 10GB APAC roaming data now include both South Korea and Taiwan?
