I click the 4G plan can order str8 away but the 5G plan direct me to palego. Odd

Pelago means Prepaid lor lol

If you are coveting 5G SA, then look elsewhere.

Indeed the Singtel hi! website is very confusing as it includes the prepaid 5G plan and the other postpaid 4G plans (S$12, S$10 and Senior plan).

Singtel hi! 5G prepaid card can also be bought from physical shops and Singtel Prepaid Shopee/Lazada shops (but usually no discount).

Singtel hi! 4G postpaid plans are more readily available now from authroized dealers as well if the user wants to get physical SIM card. Earlier they were not available from most of the dealer during initial launch last year.

Does anyone know if we can port in a regular Singtel Postpaid SIM Only plan to this Singtel Hi! Plan? Got more questions? part says "it must be an active non-Singtel hi!* mobile line with no outstanding"

Full FAQ Says "it must be an active non-Singtel mobile line"

Anyone tried and if it works?

Previous report.

Update here. Have transferred from SingTel line (non-Hi) to the $5 senior plan through the port-in process.

I had also confirmed with Hi! support chat and this is the correct process to transfer SingTel line. So the below is accurate.

Can I transfer my existing number to Singtel hi!
Yes. To transfer your existing number, it must be an active non-Singtel hi!* mobile line

Great. Thanks a lot for the update.

SingTel should update other documents to reflect this.

Hi, I've ported over from Direct Singtel SIM Only Plan to Singtel hi!.

It works as expected, so far no issues. What you expect from Singtel 4G, it feels the same. I have not tried at crowded places like concerts.
Not sure if SingTel Hi 4G is the same as SingTel 4G so it would be great if you can share your feedback after a month. Is yours the $12 plan or the senior plan? Is caller ID free?

1) Non-senior plan
Singtel hi! 4G is NOT the same but close to Singtel SIM Only (5G plan) in 4G mode, based on my one-month use of Singtel hi! S$10 plan (port-in offer, same as the S$12 plan). Called ID is free.

I have terminated the line.

But I will choose CL 5G S$8 plan or even M1 Maxx S$12 plan over this Singtel hi! 4G S$10/S$12 plan, just my personal opinion.

2) Senior plan
If you are qualified for senior plan, Singtel hi! 4G senior at S$5 per month is decent, especially for local use or MIT use (Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand). SIMBA Senior Plan and eight Senior plan may be better for roaming.

But then for local use, Singtel SIM Only Senior plan (5G) is a better option at S$6 per month. It is only for port-in or new sign-up though.

Seniors SIM Only Plan comes with:

340GB of 5G+ data
6GB DataRoam Monthly Malaysia
TalkMore Unlimited
Caller ID
500 SMS
12-month contract
$6.00/mth

so based on all your testings... what's your conclusion on:
- most reliable for mobile 5G?
- most reliable for home internet 5G?

I have made my switches from GOMO (4G) to SH S Plan (5G) for my mobile, and Heya (hi!) 4G to Zym (5G for 180 days) for my home internet.

I intend to switch from SH S Plan 5G to Zym 5G for my mobile if Zym works for my home internet. But if not, I will need to look for another 5G option for my mobile... or maybe just go back to GOMO but 5G.
Hi may I know what router you use for your home internet?
