Yup, read there and found.

How do I terminate my mobile plan?

To terminate your eight mobile plan, simply write in to us at helpme@eight.com.sg with your request.
Before doing so, please ensure that auto-recharge is disabled on your account to prevent any recurring charges before termination. We will process your request promptly and confirm once your line has been successfully terminated.

No mentioned of penalty but remembered sometime back there was a mentioned in the forum about penalties. Can't find it again.
Just write to them and state your reason for termination. Ask them if there's a penalty, otherwise you wish to terminate with immediate effect.

With your credit card removed and auto-recharge turned off, there's no way they can charge so they'll reply you accordingly.

88 Days is back!
https://www.eight.com.sg/88days

1. 88 Days Free Home Internet service (24m plan)
2. 88 Days Free 5G Upgrade at $8 (New/Port-in)
3. 88 Days for Existing customers (coming soon..)

I think it should be 88 days free 5G upgrade for $8 plan instead of "at".

88 days for existing customers is very likely the free 5G.

Wonder if the 88 days free for new port-in customers will be back.

I checked on Eight website for the offer #2, they are offering the 14.80 5G plan at $8 for first 88 days.

Tomorrow 8 march . Maybe have something?
For LONDON data roaming ,how reliable is this data roaming or how difficult to get data roam in UK?
ANY feedback?
Do we have to buy Add-on International 1GB in advance before leaving Sg?
Or the add-on is automatic bill together with the Monthly Subsciption?
IF need extra 3GB,do we buy 1GB 3 separate times?

guys, i know upgrade is instant, downgrade is take effect upon monthly renewal due date.

so now i on $18 plan. I set next cycle as the $14.80 plan (effective 9/3)
I now changed my mind and wanted to set the $8 plan.
But hor it is showing it for the NEXT cycle. (meaning about 8/4)

Question, how to cancel the upcoming cycles? Just "off" the auto-renew option?

I emailed eight but no answer after 3 days liao...

For LONDON data roaming
London is a city, it should be United Kingdom*
Do we have to buy Add-on International 1GB in advance before leaving Sg?
Cheapest 8 SGD plan has 2 GB International roaming that cover UK
Other plans has 8GB and higher
IF need extra 3GB,do we buy 1GB 3 separate times?
If you need extra 3GB topup, have to topup 3 times
under this - $3.88 Add-on Roam Zone2 Intl
You can refer to this - https://www.eight.com.sg/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/eight-Roaming-List_20260102.pdf

Just buy from shopee or lazada if you need alot more data roaming.

I was outside London for five days using Eight roaming in January this year. I get connection all the time. I was on $8 plan and upgrade it to 11.80 just before the trip. That gave me a little more international roaming data.

Better than when I was in London two years back using Simba roaming. Lose connection once in while. Still okay.

does Eight allow you to change your mobile number ?

or you need to register for new account and then cancel the old number ?

That'll work. Then let your current plan expire, whereupon you'll start a grace period. Then log back in within the grace period, choose your desired new plan, and (if you wish) reactivate auto-renew.

....Or don't worry about it because you've only made a S$3.80 "mistake." That won't be the most expensive mistake you'll ever make.

Ask them, but let's assume Eight says no, that they don't allow you to change your mobile number. And that you have wallet credits with Eight that you want to preserve. (If you don't, just get a new Eight line. Maybe even with a new line promotion.) I think this workaround should work...

1. Get a new line with another carrier with a new number. Don't choose SIMBA (since they make things a little difficult). Zero1's Starter Prime (S$7.06) is probably a good choice for these purposes.

2. Head to an Eight service center with your ID and ask them to port your new line (from Zero1 for example) into your existing Eight line. Please note that you will lose your existing Eight number when you do this.

Also please note that there could be restrictions (or at least fees) if you obtain a "golden number" then try to port that out. And it's possible this won't work if your current Eight line was ported in, but for S$7.06 it's not expensive to try. (I think it probably will work, though. There are people who want to reduce the number of lines they have, so a second port in should work.)

By the way, if you're changing numbers because you're trying to avoid someone, there are probably better ways to do that.
