dishwashers! water saving, duh.

I am looking at a dishwasher, simply because it's convenient.

Most people commented - oh yes it's water saving.

But IMO, yes it saves water, but it waste ALOT of electricity - due to the hot water and long washing cycle.

Waste electricity, sg water cheaper

Same rike those say buy save water washing machine but didn't collect water discharge for other uses

Wife and I do cook sometimes, but none of us likes to wash.

No helper, bo bian.

Petition for faster adoption of nuclear power then no need worry about electricity :crazy:

Why need hot or warm water for dishwashing ?

Is it overkill or kay gan ?

Remove the hot or warm water function and settle ?

Thats how dishwasher works. How else do you think they can remove all the grease and oil so 'easily' without any scrub.

It's a combination of hot water + strong enzymes.

No dishwater that scrub and scrub ?

If don't have, disposable can save all troubles and concerns ?

can configure dont use hot water?
like my roborock also has option to use hot water to wash mop but can be turned off...and where the enzymes come from? special soap?

actually always wonder what is the yardstick that determine " water saving" in these appliances :unsure: , my washing machine is 4 ticks but i find that the water it uses per wash and rinse also like a lot.
