My MIG also in negative alr due to last few price drops , laugh or cry haha.
But I guess thats the process or nature atleast for Gold and some other instruments ,
where short term volatile is expected as its suppose to be a mid to long term hold asset anyways.
This is where the hedged v/s unhedged consideration matters too ,
USD getting stronger 1.26sgd to 1.28sgd

if your sell confirmation is on 9 mar Mon, I can confirm that your selling price is $9.42. I can also confirm u can get a decent return by getting the payout mthly instead of selling at a loss.

btw, did u sell Mii $1k on 5 mar and bought $10k on 6 mar?
lost $51.55 , buyed $9.47 sold at $9.42 :(

lesson learnt.

so u:
  1. bought $1k in feb
  2. bought $10k on 3 mar
  3. sold $1k on 5 mar
  4. sold $10k on 6 mar
?
what is the lesson u learnt?
1. higher return = higher risks = gambling.
2. bond isn't 100% safe..... Despite knowing iran war on-going, i still invest.
3. i should understand the full mechanism/whole process before all in. i still dun understand unit price, unrealistic return etc.

$53 is a small price to pay
1. higher return ≠ higher risks
higher risks = gambling
2. no investment is 100% safe. not even t-bill, ssb or even FD.
return with less than inflation = 100% unsafe
3. it is difficult/impossible to understand the whole process unless u try it yourself.
