So how much it I upgrade my current Iroad x5 to latest modelNah, I was referring to iRoad.
You go to their service centre and try to do a warranty claim. Their policy is "1:1" exchange, sometimes with a refurbished set, iirc.
Any electronics place that does not even bother to bring in your item for a repair, and ship it back out to customer, but instead does a one-to-one exchange - you and I know very well what kind of quality their products are (i.e. it is not even worth their time to repair, or they do not even have the technical know-how to do product repairs).
With prices ranging from $400 to $600 and even higher for just the most basic model + installation/labour fees with their partner workshops - it is certainly not something that I take too kindly as an end-consumer.

Check it out yourself - seems the prices are for the bare units.
Then, they will direct you to their "authorised" installation workshops - which I am guessing will incur another installation fee (usually 1-2hrs).
Don't expect fuse-tap standards of installation though.
Good luck.
