Let's see if we will see Mac Mini M5 later this year.

I was deciding between a MacBook Neo and Mac Mini M5. In the end I bought MacBook Neo.

My Mac Mini M1 2020 8GB/256GB still serves me well though. I do not do things like heavy Photo Editing or any video editing on any of my Windows/Linux/macOS machines.

MacBook Neo has rightfully been praised for its low price point, but the Mac mini remains the most affordable Mac you can buy—at least, before adding a display, keyboard, and mouse or trackpad.

The Mac mini is expected to get an update this year with two chip options:
  • M5
  • M5 Pro
Like the new Mac Studio, we’re not expecting any outward design changes. But with the Mac mini gaining new popularity as a device for OpenClaw and Perplexity’s ‘Personal Computer,’ a simple chip bump should prove welcome nonetheless.

My 8 year old windows desktop can’t start.
thinking of swopping to a m4 Mac mini since I normally just do light office work and video watching on YouTube/online or on hdd

Saw there is also mstudio. Which is a better option?

when you say lobang, meaning you asking if ppl who has access to it whether can buy on your behalf?

Or get the macbook neo since it suits your activities and cheaper as well.

I rather have 256gb storage, but 16gb ram is a must........From 8gb to 16gb ram speed improvement could be as much as 60% boost loading time.

Mac Mini M4 16GB out of stock everywhere. Ended up order from Apple store but delivery is 3 weeks away.
