Nice to see new 5G senior plan from Singtel hi! Postpaid, but I tend to think Gomo S$6 5G Senior may be more worth it.

@xiaofan SingTel Hi! postpaid launch new plans on top of the initial $5 Senior 4G, $15 5G+, $20 5G+ plan

$7 500GB Senior 5G+
$25 850GB 5G+
$30 1000GB 5G+ Enhanced
$35 Unlimited with FUP* 5G+ Enhanced

*Unlimited local + roaming data is subject to Fair Usage Policy of 1200GB

Nice to see S$7 Senior 5G+ plan, but take note Gomo 5G+ senior plan is at S$6 per month.

Not so sure if one really needs S$25/S$30/S$35 plan.

actually quite confused - what's the difference between this hi! plan and the normal Singtel SIM-only plan like the $15.28 one?

Much better roaming bundles, roll over of local/roaming data. No roaming voice support so no surprise charges as well.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi

But lower priority for local usage. No physical shop or hotline support either.

I tend to believe the priority is the same as Gomo, Zym, Zero1, VIVIFI or CMLink for SingTel hi! 5G postpaid plans. Singtel hi! 4G postpaid plans may even have lower priority (heya replacement).

There is another $40 plan (1.5TB) that is only viewable on the app. Not shown on the Singtel website.

I don’t think with all the given local and roaming data from Hi! Postpaid and rollover, anything about $25 plan is kind of not necessary at all.

Nowadays, the roaming is ths selling point. Not the local data allowance. :s13:

It may be tough to differentiate the offerings among Zym, Zero1 and VIVIFI. The following may be a good reference.

I have only tried Zym 4G plan with 5G trial for 2.5 months and it seems to be okay, but I can still see some differences between SingTel S$15.28 plan and the Zym plan even when both have 5G SA connections.

Any reason why you chose zym vs vivifi vs zero1 having the same 5g+ forever promo?

The 3 mvnos mentioned offer similar plan with ZYM offering the most local talktime.

Other than the plans which are quite similar:

Zym: Roam guard, with app, WA chat support & more physical shops near town area. Willing to upgrade existing customers with offers & invoicing adjusted to 1st of each month.
Vivifi: Roam guard, no app, email support only, less physical shops mostly for sim collections only. Willing to upgrade existing customers with offers & invoicing adjusted to 1st of each month.
Zero1: No Roam guard, with app, ticketing support (which I find slow), less physical shops & not willing to retroactively upgrade existing users. Invoicing from date of activation.

Free voice roaming is also now available on M1 Maxx's S$10 plan. SIMBA is still the best for voice roaming in most scenarios since (if voice roaming is available at all) you can call all the same numbers you can call from Singapore, but Maxx has improved.

Yes, mainland China and Hong Kong are included in the "local" data bucket with M1 Maxx's S$12 and S$15 plans. The S$10 plan shifts mainland China out of the "local" bucket, but it's still in the "APAC 11" and "International" buckets.

how is the M1 Maxx data roaming in china ?

is it reliable?

Gomo price increase: 5G+ Value plan from S$18.33 to S$19.99.
https://www.gomo.sg/

You should have received this message from GOMO regarding the change in price. It comes with upgraded benefits as well.

Hey Fam! We're upgrading your plan with an upsized 28GB Asia Roaming (China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and more), plus 400GB data in M'sia, Indo, Thailand, Taiwan & Australia. You'll also enjoy 800 IDD mins.

Together with your existing 400GB 5G+ local data, 800 mins & SMS, and 10GB Worldwide roaming, your plan will be updated to $19.99/month, renewable every 30 days.

Gomo 4G Pro with 24 months of 5G+ also increased the price from S$15 to S$15.99 per month.

Depending when you sign, need to check the terms and conditions.

It can be much higher than S$12 per month if I remember correctly.

Better way is to port out first after contract expires for one month, then port back to SingTel S$12 senior plan.

Hi my parents are currently under the Singtel Hi postpaid senior plan $5/mth. In their Hi app there's option for $50 1-Yr $5 senior plan and $70 1-Yr $7 5G+ senior plan. If they choose the $70 plan at the end of the 1 year they will remain at the $7/mth postpaid plan right? Rollover data (including roaming) will still function as per normal during the 1-year period? Thanks

You have to check when did they sign up as the contract terms and conditions for the Singtel senior plan kept changing over time. If their contract is expiring on Oct 2026 then likely they signed up during the period where it was $6 but will revert to $12 after 1 year.

When it first launched it was $6 then after 1 year it will revert to $12.

Then it changed to $6 perpetually (even after 1 year).

Singtel SG60 Promotion, S$6 Merdeka and Pioneers plan, 5G -- 1 line only.

Need to read the terms and conditions closely.

First 12 months at S$6 per month, 13th to 24 month at S$12 per month.
After that it becomes more expensive and need to change to other plan.

I guess you have to check with SingTel hi! using the in-app chat. The plans are relatively new and the documentation is not so good as of now
