the brushes are for bigger stuff, the bin with the "teeth" are the main thing that suck up all the very fine dust. I can assure you that no vacuum cleaner is able to pick up as much fine dust as good as what a Roomba (I'm referring to 550 and above). I have a Dyson which is in retire mood since Roomba took over its responsibility :s22:

Is 5series suppose to filter finer dust compared to 4series? Is it due to it's dust filter or its brushes?

How should I allocate the job to 2 schedulers to clean 4A flat(1 living room with dining area, 3 bedrooms)? Any suggestion? I don't think the bot can effectively cleaning more than 2 room.

nothing to do with the filter lar, if not your fan will get chocked soon....

it's the way they design the teeth I supposed. Which able to pick up more dust than others, as I said, my Dyson + Magic Clean still lose to 550....:s22:

bahang, it's the total area matter, including your furniture all those in, nothing to do with how many "rooms" you have....

I doubt it would be effective for more than 2 lighthouse in place.....:s22:

scooba only a few models to choose from, just go to irobot website or amazon for details and comparing prices. :o

I guess for new users of USA to Sg delivery, use vpost easiest. It would cost abt sgd$60-100 depending on yr package wt.

I tried shipping irobot thru vpost but they are not allowed to ship out cos they are listed as freight forwarder even tho thru googlecheckout. perhaps you can try comgateway.

have you register for vpost or comgateway? :o

after registeration, they will have instruction for how you deliver to their usa address. :o

you will have to compare prices to see which online store is cheaper for your model.

i tried thru vpost rejected but my friend got it when shipped thru comgateway.

vpost service sucks they charged the money then i waited about 2 months, and i've chased them with 5 emails to finally find out it's rejected cos vpost is a freight forwarder.
