dun fret. the young guns are good. They already shown by defeating us at Emirates. Just that the french ****** ex-captain must go.

Hai.

I'm not so sure. The young guns? People like Diaby, Denilson, Bendtner and Song has been horrible for most part of the season. There are only a few gems in the treasure box. The team only rise up on big occasions. Immature and unprofessional.

That frenchie will most likely be gone. But it creates another problem. While he may be a pest, he is one of the better defenders in our side. Toure has been off form, Djourou is still an unknown. Silvestre has been decent at the max.

Where do you stay?

If near AMK, I will recommend C2C at AMK Ave 10.

Most bikes are mostly made in Taiwan and China now. With your budget, your frame will fall under those countries which is not a bad thing.

For some exotic boutique brand, they are made in USA.

Your size probably you should be looking at S or M depending on whether you go offroad more or on road more.
At this price range, probably you wont have any choice of crank length (99% 175mm), so don't worry about it.

If you go to a reputated shop, probably wont get scam, but don't expect to pay the lowest price cause relationship with the bike shop needs to be built.

Today managed to go window-shopping at last! Pasir Ris near Elias area got one shop called Bike World, they quote me GT 2009 Ava3.0 Disc for $630~. But I rode my friend's Ava3 and felt the alivio R/D got alot of lag in terms of input vs actual gear change.

Shd i pay extra 100-something to get the Ava2 from the Whitesands shop???

I was open to other brands, but the Kona models I saw werent as competitive in their offerings as compared to the Avalanche.

Thanks for your advise. I am looking to buy by 1st week of dec.!
