1. After eating, i go out
2. At the time i finish eating i go out.

Thank you for answering my question. Seems like both sentence are structurally correct. This came from Minna No Nihongo Book 2 (Blue color) last 復習 last question. Seems like answer can be either...was just wondering why the standard answer is 1.

At N2, for reading, you should be able to read and understand books of general statements. If a dictionary is being used, you should be able to read materials of speciality. You are able to read materials concerning general topics, simple passages, not just the flow of a story, but also match the intention of the expressions and understand it.

For listening, on top of general real life situations, you should be able to listen in various types of situations, conversations & news, being able to understand the content, flow of a story, understand the relationship b/w the characters, and able to grasp the gist of the story.

Wow, that's hard.

Bunka Elementary 1 Test

Hi, to anyone who has studied at Bunka, can I jus check with you what will the oral and written test for Elementary 1 be like?

Heard from my sensei we'll be given a picture to describe it, but duno is it tt we describe what's on the picture (e.g a railway station can be seen at the top right of this picture, a restaurant is at bottom of this picture etc) or is it that we try to mk use of the picture to form sentences?

The written test will be like fill in the blanks from sentences?

Hope anyone who knows can enlighten me soon, thx! :s22:

解することができる。

Reading: For those non native speakers, they should be able to understand passages and phrases that are being written in quite easy Kanji and hiragana.

Full-time class will also cost you a bomb, and it's on weekdays 3hrs/day during working hours, so I'm not sure how that is gonna fit your schedule. I guess it should be manageable if you're not working or studying full-time.

Yes i know it is gonna cost be a bomb...it is bothering me...>.<...
Schedule-wise i can fit in Full-time for quite a while...
For me time is an ultimate concern..so i dont have much choices...other schools dont offer full time
Cost wise i have no choice but to burn my pocket...T.T

Don't bother to enrol in JCS. Concentrate on your current course.

Please don't waste your money on JCS.
The 40person class size will kill any enthusiasm you have for learning the language.

Ive studied in Ikoma, Inoue, JCS and fulltime in Tokyo.
Of the 3 SG schools, Ikoma comes closest to the Tokyo standard of teaching japanese.

I've studied in Ikoma fulltime (for 3 months or so) a few years ago.
I must say I enjoyed it alot, mostly because of the very small class size (there were 7 or 8 of us in the class), so we had lots of time and opportunity to interact with our Senseis.
But beware though, there is written homework everyday, so you need to set aside time to finish it every evening.

Which level you went for ?
Hmm...homework wise is it alot?
How long on average you spent on homework each day ?
I have heard Ikoma is more homework based then test based. So i kind of expected that there will be homework but i dont know the workload they will give.
