can u guys give me a hint on how to partition the disk..
I am thinking of the partitioning the disk into
C: 50GB - windows Vista -- Is this enuff or too much
D: Recovery Disk - 11GB === Default set up by HP...
E: 100GB - audio/media/video files/Data files...
F: 100GB - Installation programs --- probably top up more here....
G:30GB - Linux Distro including the swap partition.
Can someone comment on this partitioning format.. and advise me...
why separate Installation programs and OS?
I just found that a couple of websites advocate this strategy.

The current qn I have, is that Vista's format tool DOESNT allow me to shrink my C: drive to 50Gb, it seems that I can only shrink by half at most (150GB etc)....
What the Hell.... Can someone comment on a walkaround....
Thanks again
