To introduce yourself to Japanese pen pals, you must be polite and know the correct things to say.
First, use polite terms like 貴様 (kisama).
Then ask how are they doing.
Like this..

こんにちは。
嘗めとんのか、貴様。

き‐さま【貴様】

［代］二人称の人代名詞。

１ 男性が、親しい対等の者または目下の者に対して用いる。また、相手をののしる場合にも用いる。おまえ。「―とおれ」「―の顔なんか二度と見たくない」

２ 目上の相手に対して、尊敬の気持ちを含めて用いた語。貴殿。あなたさま。

・ 「―もよろづに気のつきさうなる御方様と見えて」〈浮・一代男・一〉

◆中世末から近世中期までは文字通り尊敬の意を含んで用いられたが、それ以降はしだいに尊敬の意は薄れ、近世後期には現代とほぼ同様に用いられるようになった。

The current usage is not the same as the original meaning anymore.
Are u sure you wanna use this in your introduction to penpals?
They may not even know the original meaning.

why ppl learn how to walk is because during baby days...

they try, they fall, they get up, they try again and they walk...

so don be afraid of falling, most impt is getting up when u fall and try again...

they try, they fall, they get up, they try again and they walk...

so don be afraid of falling, most impt is getting up when u fall and try again...

some of the good books i saw there with the recommendation from my friends (as i am from NTU), i bought it and kino and left it at my home leh..

to recommend some books which i frequently used it to teach grammer are:

the above are 3 different books, i suggest buying the yellow for beginners

my penpal recommend this (japanese for busy ppl) for me (as i am busy) to use it for self leisure study... i won't strongly recommend unless u are really interested in in depth basic japanese language.. i recommend the kana version...

they are abit expensive though... try to get it from Japan...

keke... but seriously i love their language a lot
