Interested in sager gaming laptop but have a few question. Hope senior here can advise.

SGclubHub (warranty 4 yr local .3yr part local)
1) If i have problem with the lappy .Do i need to bring down to the service center or they do collection like HP?
2) Where is the service center?
3)How is there technical support over phone (sg)?
4)How is there technical support over email (sg or US)?
5)What happen if the distributor close shop after a few yrs & my laptop got problem (still under warranty). How ? (send back to US sager? ) ? US only had 1 yr warrenty this go to most standard pc sell in sg
5a) What is the cost of sending laptop back to US tro & fo for repair (under warranty but distributor close shop)

If you guys wanna change your cpu in your np8662, would you change it on your own or send back to sgcubehubs to modify or know of any reputable shop that can modify safely? (assuming you bought from them)

I'd emailed sgcubehubs and they said either I could change on my own or go back to them.. either way have to email to notify them so as not to void the warranty..

Can consider the coolermaster u1 and u2, am getting one for my baby this coming comex at banleong booth. They will be releasing price tml in the forums.

The fans are 2 standard 80mm mounted on the aluminum plate, so you can adjust blow in or flip to blow out I believe.

yep that can do, the manuals for the laptop upgrade quite comprehensive as well, shouldn't have any problems doing it yourself. the hard part is the disassemble part, not to use force to break and of the latches!

saw the coolermaster notepal x2......and thermaltake massive 23st..
considered to buy one of them...

anyway....i have done another mod...cutting the backplate of the hdd section...

(1) Sorry, I'm not sure.
(2) They supply the OEM version. So you get the shrink-wrapped Vista/Win7 disk along with support software.

For my 5kg Sager (If memory proves correct) whereby only the notebook is sent back, it will cost around USD400-500, round trip. However, I think if you order through local resellers, they will try to fix it for you.

and....the screen ratio..is 16:9 ....so..enjoy flattened widescreen(which i dont like , thats why im getting myself NP8662 that has the screen ratio 16:10)

Its important for us to distinguish the Mucro brand because we are doing most of the hard work and doing things for Sager/Zepto/OCZ.

There is no reason why we should continue to promote one brand over another unless the brand decides to pay for marketing. We also prefer they pay so we can use official channels correctly.
