Rather disappointed with Uniqlo not carrying any XXL size. This is because Uniqlo XL size is rather small. All uniqlo short sleeves tees or short sleeves shirts are very short on the sleeves. Nothing to purchase from them. Hope Uniqlo offer also option for larger size tees and to have their short sleeves lengthen by at least 2 inch more.

dec 2009. 70% of the +J range will be available. read it from the papers.

Yup, very disappointing yet expected. SG's always last the get things and we'll get the sh1tty leftover stuff.

Last I heard, all the good stuff were sold out worldwide, so that means the 70% are the leftovers or MAYBE some will be "not bad" apparels but with ridiculous sizes like XXXXXL :s13:

I have no issue with size L when I have my tees and short sleeves shirts from Mark n Spencer. Also size XL tees from Robinsion.
When it comes to Uniqlo their size XL is like size L. That's why I am looking for size XXL from Uniqlo. Maybe they are only interested in selected group of consumers but not offering to all. If they want to be one of the top retailers they need to cater for all sizes.

The newer generation Japanese are much taller these days. Uniqlo is all over in USA, France, UK ... how are they going to succeed if they don't offers more sizes. They limited to size XL even in USA, France and UK. Went to Uniqlo UK site and size XL is their limit.

true but on the street, out of 10 japanese guys, i would say only 3-4 are taller than 170 cm, and i dont even know if they have insoles in their shoes. very rarely would u see a tall, say 180 and above guy, very very rarely

actually the +J collection has nothing much for our climate except the long sleeve shirts, long sleeves t-shirts, jeans and pants.

im not too much bothered about +J.

with the use of inexpensive fabrics to keep costs down, i don't see how far +J's collection will go...

From what I know, Singapore follows Asian sizing. And that New Yorkers/Londoners/Parisians aren't complaining about the XL's. Instead, they're complaining about the lack of size S :s22:

agree. Though the japaneses are definitely growing out of the typical smaller asian framework, but still their guys are usually quite skinny still...

Like for my case, i am still hunting for their size XS too. I seen one of their brown leather jacket which i like alot, but size S is simply too big and long on the sleeves for me... :(
