EVGA have announced what looks like an exciting launch for a new dual-GPU Nvidia card.
The launch date is set to 30th October, so that pretty much rules out a GT300 dual GPU board (barring true miracles).
There's a riddle, which should hint what this "new" dual-GPU card is all about.

Hi all, I intend to hoot a new graphic card tomorrow at Sim Lim. But I have no idea what to buy.

Current specs :

Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

Motherboard: Intel Mequon DG965MQ (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)

Motherboard Chipset: Intel Broadwater G965

Processor: Dual Core Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)

RAM: 3.00GB

PSU: Not sure about the wattage but here's the sticker:

Budget around $200. Would like to play games like L4D [2] and Prototype in high resolution and high framerate. Any suggestions bros?

Hi I am having a dilema now. I am not sure whether to get HIS HD 4870 icoolerx3 1gb or HIS 4870 iceQ Turbo 1gb.

I would like to ask a few question please advise thanks.
My ram currently is 4gb DDR2 will this support the Card?
Should i pay more for the better cooling system for iceQ4?
Is it a good investment for long term lets say (3 yrs for IceQ4)?
IS 285 for iceQ 4 model worth or should i just get the icooler x3?
Is iceQ 4 model too high end for a casual gamer for me (Wow, league Of Legends and future games like D3 and L4D 2).

Runnig on a 24inch monitor and resolution of 1900x1600.

Both the HD 5800 series cards are virtually identical from the outside - except for length. The HD 5850 ends up shorter - around 9.5"/24cm, around HD 4870/90 length; the HD 5870 is longer, at 10.5"/27cm length - the same length as a 4870 X2.
