Hi All,

Just got my 550 today !! New electronic thing to play.. due to my carelessness, I forget to switch the transformer to 110V... As all of you have guessed, my Power adapter went kapoo.. "pop" and went dead..Guess my capacitor have burnt, open up saw some green power on it so I presume that it burnt ?

Anyone know whether just a replacement of component will get it work again or it is gone for good and need to buy new adapter? . While reading the forum, saw someone recommend SL tower continental.. can they replace and solder the component ? Anyone can advise me..pls

P/S: I am suck in electronic component

You are the third one I encountered that blown the PSU despite switching to the correct voltage. Input voltage should be 240v to step it down to 110v. Is your 110v set as input? Some transformers are simply unreliable.

It is a China made machine. Forget about getting this, roomba is way better. If you visit Alibaba beware of scammer who sell Roomba at unbeliveable prices. I can gaurantee you none of the China and Inodensia suppliers are real.

it means the ebay seller will be sending the battery direct to the buyer. you ship via vpost then maybe cannot.
