guys

Currently my gf is at taiwan. she is looking to buy a racer. Most likely going to get giant.

SHe is looking at this Giant Bicycle Inc. TCR Composite 3

http://www.roadbikereview.com/cat/latest-bikes/road-bike/giant-bicycle-inc/PRD_366636_5668crx.aspx

Its an old model. Year 2006 one. But brand new.

Anyone know how much izzit selling at SG?

A Giant TCR3 is a fantastic bike with great value. It's half-carbon man, will definitely be a more comfy ride than most full alu bikes at that price range.

You will get it cheaper in Taiwan because most bike factories are there. Giant is the largest bike manufacturer in Taiwan and the world. Even other brands' bikes are manufactured by their factories. Before I got a deal too good to resist on my current Cube roadie, the Giant TCR Alliance was top of my list.

You won't ever go wrong with a Giant. Really.

You MAY like to check out a Fuji Roubaix though. Fantastic ride.

afaik, the Giant TCR Alliance goes for around 2.3k in Singapore.

a Fuji Roubaix 1.0 goes for btw 1.5 - 1.8k, depending on the components u get. U can find Fuji at Gnee Hong bikes, Fab's Cycles at China Square Central. Giant is by Tay Junction/Cycle.

They are the same. I'm using the PlanetBike version while my brother uses the SMART one. The SMART one is just the OEM version, absolutely no difference in power.

They're about $35 and below from Chapter2Cycle.
