Should be Q2 FY2010 but they put it as Q3 FY2010, feels very weird.

Should be Q2 FY2010 but they put it as Q3 FY2010, feels very weird.

Should be correct. IIRC, FCT FY starts from Oct. So 3Q FY10 is for the period Apr - Jun 2010.

Duh! FCT = Frasers Centrepoint trust.

Frasers Comm = FCOT.

Don't think so. Correct me if I'm wrong, they pay dividend twice yearly. Just dished out dividend in May. How can everyday dividend?

You are still talking about FCOT rt?

The reason why they pay 3 times in 2009 was because they make a switch in the financial year to end in September. Previously its FY end in December. So during the transition, they paid an additional distribution for the period between July to Sep 09 which was paid in Nov 09. And which is also why it was a miserable $0.002 distribution.

Moving forward, FCOT will pay distribution on half-yearly basis. Got it?? If it makes you feel better, before FCOT took over Allco, it was paying distribution on a quarterly basis.

even if they can distribute dividends on a daily basis, do you think its good? first of all its not going to change the amount of dividends per annum. ie $1200 per annum = $300 per quarter (assuming no time value)

and its not cost effective to distribute dividends too frequently also. the overhead costs could be saved or reinvested for higher future dividends

Indeed, paul u got it wrong. They had declared dividend for FCOT. DPU increase We will be distributed 0.25. Guess i still did my homework.

Fraser Commercial Trust on 28 July 2010 annouced a distribution per unit of 0.25 for the fiscal third quarter.
There is an increase of 39 per cent compared to a year ago.

Wait for the 3rd dividend (FY10 fourth quarter) around nov or dec, this year is a good year for FCOT. So it is 3 time of dividend yearly. It better than Suntec compared to the price and dividend we getting. This is also my only reits i am supporting in my portfolio cos of its cheapness.

WELL DONE FCOT. U make me choose the right choice. Btw, What is the DPU for Fraser comm CPPU. I got some shares there also.

Duh! You still dun get it!

Declaration of distribution and payment of distribution is 2 separate issues.

All REITs will report and declare their distributions on a quarterly basis; but not all will pay you the dividends quarterly. FCOT will not be paying you the 0.25c next month; and it will be paid together with the 4Q results in Nov.

If you have been reading the results announcement, you will notice there is no mention about BCD and payment of this 0.25c.

Anyway, I think we should stop talking about FCOT here as this is after all a FCT thread.
