Just need to go Market place install Google Pinyin IME. Default doesn't have Chinese language pack as it was only launch in EU market.

dun u find the 2.1 is so much cooler than 1.6 lol...btw how u manage to get from dell uk directly? I tried using a SG cc was unsuccessfully so paid a high price from someone in ebay. but the funny thing is that we are having the same product how come the baseband version is so much different lol...

maybe get your friend to sent you chinese SMS to test......

Yes, but this dell action super slow...maybe their not so confident on their product, their marketing are suck....

yup, just install the google pinyin ime can oreadi.

keyboard quite good, can toggle between eng and chi. dun have to change input method

Mine is a UK set and also non o2 device but managed to convert it to o2 set credits to a certain forum and also upgraded to android 2.1. This is what i feel after playing with 1.6 and 2.1. 1.6 really cannot make it and everything seems so dull but 2.1 is quite cool and everything seems so full of color and smoother. Even the icons in 2.1 seems nicer and more organised lol...maybe once my ip4 goes bye bye i will use this streak as my 2nd phone.

indeed the 2.1 OS makes android even better.

as a newbie, i used 2.1 milestone then later sold and used a 1.6 tattoo, not knowing that there are differences in the OS.

i was like going, 'why HTC make the phone like so retarded one?'. after that then realise that donut was the cause of it.
