depends on what you buy and if there are any premade systems in their factory. if u buy those heavily customized ones and popular ones can wait up to 2 weeks i think. if unlucky and there are part shortages like for my case, it took 1 month 2 week. and my order went through about 1 week before the previous pc show.

Have a question ~~~
Am using Dell Studio 15 laptop~~
Is initially is come with Vista
but I reformatted it with Window 7 beta, now currently using Windows 7 Pro [Original Copy]

Is having screen distortion when I had reported in April
They changed the motherboard and screen for numerous time and the problem still existed.

They replied me after they got off the phone with me ytd
As per our conversation yesterday, you informed us the system is installed with Windows 7 and the system had no issue from the first day you received the system until your last visit to Guangzhou.

I had checked in the case log history and notice you had reported this issue last year August and our agent had already set expectation regarding the issue could be due to software issue. We had already sent few service and replace the necessary parts that might caused this issue and issue still persisted, hence we can confirm there is no hardware faulty. For your information, your Dell computer is tested, validated, and optimized for the operating system that shipped with your computer. If you have modified your system from its original configuration, you may experience conflicts due to compatibility. For these reasons, we generally encourage that you maintain the operating system that shipped with your system. However, in many cases, your Dell computer may successfully support another operating system but it will be used at your own risk.

Since this is a software issue, I would suggest to backup all your important and reload Operating System as alternate solution.

what is the next step of action that I can do apart from reinstalling to the lousy Vista ~~

reinstall vista, prove that problem exists ( if its does )... if not you're just screwed since if the problem doesnt show up means its software problem instead...
