hey can i also ask if cure aqua gel a good alternative for bebeco peeling gel? troublesome to buy bebeco products without a physical store

Well, it depends on individuals because some might not like the smell of Cure, even tho the ingredient list says no alcohol but some say it smells like alcohol.
I suggest u go Watsons to try it out first and see if u like the smell, texture and the results it produces. Try on the back of your hand and rub. Pls have tissues on standby to wipe off :)

mask for removing can try shills.. but pain factor is super high.

haha click only if you won't be grossed by blackheads.

else u can go for the usual biore pore packs however, long term usage will lead to open pores. my suggestion is use it occasionally only...

or use scrubs like bebeco's peeling gel or cure aqua gel.

try a small spot first cus it hurts like a m*therf**ker when u peel it off.
i think for guys who find it a hassle & have low pain threshold, try the biore pore packs first.

so the point to face wash is to cleanse first, then scrub (2-3 times a week) and then moisturize?

I use cure aqua gel prior to seeing this thread. I must say its pretty good in exfoliating dead skin.

yup, usual steps: cleanse > tone > moisturize

weekly treats: scrub min. once a week, try to do mask once a week :)

hi angeliquez... u noe how to minimise/refine pores?

blogged about it before, u can only minimize the appearance cuz u cant change the size of ya pores.

It's quite a sad thing that pore size can't be significantly reduced.
The most you can do is either minimize the appearance of it with the help
of skincare products.

If you want much more visible results, you'll have to turn to BOTOX® which can be expensive and addictive. According to splendicity.com, BOTOX® is said to be able to treat skin conditions such as large pores, oily skin, and inflammation from acne.

"The injection of Botox into the skin actually causes the pores to constrict in size, which is a huge plus for anyone who has tried to reduce them in the past – there have always been different methods and applications to reduce pore size, but there is nothing topical that can be applied to the skin to reduce their appearance."

So how does BOTOX® work for large pores?

According to NYC Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Anil R. Shah:
"The Botox interacts with the tiny little muscle around the pore. These muscles don’t form wrinkles; they’re the same muscles that create goose bumps. The injection into the shallow layer of the dermis freezes the same tiny muscle so that the skin is now taut."

I suggest regular scrubbing to rid off dead skin and blackheads so that pores are clean and will look smaller. UNLESS u wanna go for botox ....

only tried the strawberry yogurt mask before, very hydrating...
usually sheet masks provide more moisture while clay/gel masks are more for cleansing your face/getting rid of grime and drying out acne.

In essence, you put a layer of 'sticky stuff' on your face, whether it's clay, gel, or other combinations. Because it has a bit of stickiness to it, and is mostly liquid goo, it squishes down into your nooks, crannies and pores of your face, connecting with all the dirt and grime hiding in there. As the goo dries, it pulls away from your skin, and it pulls all of those impurities and dead skin cells with it. This is sort of like if you took tape and pressed it against a linty sweater - when you lifted the tape, all that lint would stick to the tape and lift away with it.
