For the degree programme, advanced topics in C / C++ and Java (i.e. network / socket programming, multi-threading, etc.). Also, SQL for the third year course on databases. There's also Ada for a fourth year course.

For FYP, some projects may require MATLAB, C#, or other .net programming languages (mine was in C last time, but that's because I did programming from the application space all the way down to the Linux kernel level).

If you intend to further your studies, Python and shell scripting will come in useful too.

also.. if you're doing the software engine proj for ce.. there's mysql, apache tomcat, scripting, xml maniupulation, and open gl or unreal 3d or whatever 3d api you use..

wao huai nid sho long?

The most logical reason that i can think of is that maybe they need to wait for the students doing EIA ( 30 weeks ) so that they can moderate the grades together. That might be the reason for the delay.

i think is per year. :o else those who never get for first year probably have no chance of getting it at all

principle of genetics who take be4?

BS107? i took before. I took it as a UE last last sem. No midterm. No lab to help you so it's 100% exam for you. Biology core students get 30% from their lab work. The exam format I had was 100% multiple answer MCQ (50 Qns), meaning there may be more than 1 correct answer and you have to choose ALL correct answers in order to score the point. No separate bell curve for UE students. As with all other biology modules, lots of memory work required.
