from the pics, it doesnt look like a QC defect thou. if it is, then it shouldnt be sold at duty free boutiques liaoz. your fren should have checked the item thoroughly before accepting/paying for it.

don't look like a defect .. more like poor quality from Gucci.
which i think is quite common nowadays. Quality not so good , should have triple check before leaving the store.

i got this like years back

and its still is the nicest buckle from Gucci imho, for working executive..

it is...but unlike hermes or lv reversible...this buckle is alittle difficult to take it out and reverse the leather... so being a new belt, u might not be utilising the reversible side often.
