ksrokiller, what is your download and upload noise margin for 10Mbps with the 2wire 5012NV? Or any one else using 5012NV for 10Mbps can provide your SN for comparision?
Yesterday, I received my 2wire 5012NV for the 10Mbps plan.
Before using 2wire 5012NV I was using 2wire 2701HGV-E and my download signal noise margin was 25~26 dB which is excellence for the 10Mbps plan.
With the newer 2wire 5012NV my download signal noise margin went down to 16.3 dB, indicative of lower performance. That is a significant SN drop. Generally the higher SN is better.
With 2wire 5012NV for 10Mbps plan.
Download SN: 16.4 dB
Updolad SN: 10.5 dB
I had rang up Singnet help desk and they say it is like that, it is already good, It is ok.Certainly, the 26 dB previously was much better than the 16.4 dB.

Hi bro sorry late reply my noise margin upload is 7.0 dB down is 21.4 dB btw are you running on pppoe?

I called them again just now to ask for the $5 waiver haha. And they said yes! Is this waiver for 12 months? This is such a good deal.
ksrokiller, my 2wire setting is on pppoe (default). I think pppoe is the standard setting for Singnet adsl. Your noise margin 21.4 dB for download is in the excellent range. Here is my DSL detail. http://charts.dacharts.net/2011-02-27/price_22.png

that goodhow do you create the dsl line chart using the website you posted.
You can use a screen capture utility and take a sceenshot of your DSL detail from the 2wire modem page and post it to ImageShack.US or any other image hoster.
I have WinSnap screen capture (shareware) and Screenpresso (freeware with branding, otherwise shareware).
For the previous image posting, I used Screenpresso for the screenshots and use its FTP feature to post to daChart site. DaCharts site is mainly for traders, mostly day trading posting their charts only.
