so if FTT is expired after 2 years, even with valid PDL, also cannot take practical lessons?

anyone knows if SSDC woodlands circuit is tough or reasonable easy?

Just the PDL is required for practical lesson.

If talking about FTT: without passing FTT, you won't be allowed to book TP test.

FTT have no impact on your practical lesson, its just that if you are learning from PDI, some PDI prefer you to have pass FTT first.

There's a queue system in place, where priority is given:

1. revision lessons for students whose TP test is coming soon.
2. have just booked TP test and still learning.
3. still learning and not advised to book TP test yet
4. newbies
5. haven't register as students

I think his schedule must be fully packed now, that why he sort of declining to take in new students so that he can concentrate on his current students and maintain his standard.

Its anyone's guess if he will still be as busy by the time you clr your FTT.

I encounter a somewhat similar situation as you, you can try this and see if it works:

1. Call him again and tell him that you know his schedule is very tight but you are willing to wait. Just ask him for the earliest slot available and see if you can fit in.

2. If he try to recommend his colleague (he did the same to me also, i decline), i think the name is Mr Lye, just decline and say that you prefer to learn only from him.

3. Mention that you are from hardwarezone and someone recommended him.

Thank you so much for your help! :)

Just in case he doesnt want to take me in, anyone has other suggestions for BBDC pdi?

Thanks for the info. Taking my BTT on Monday (lucky I checked. Forfeited my money for the previous booking, but heck, a whole 2 months earlier!)... Hope the instructor I find doesn't insist on having passed FTT >.>

Mr Toh 90482119, 3, YCK, SSDC
Mr William, 90215833, 3, YCK, CDC
Mr Sidik, 96918511, 3, Eunos, CDC
Mr Philip, 94509100, unknown
Mr Tan, 91015568, unknown
Mr John, 94592222, unknown

my wife used to learn from Mr William but failed twice under him. recently she decided to take 3A instead of 3 n also changing to SSDC since there is lesser traffic there n it's only 5 mins drive from our home. but last heard is Mr William is getting a auto car, maybe he teaching 3A too.
