u want to replace the FA28-70? the sigma cannot use filter leh.. else i would consider getting it

The FA28-75/4 is not exactly very good at f4, although it's better than the kit 18-55 la.. feel like getting a f2.8 zoom that is very usable at f2.8, hence my headache..:s22:

as for sigma 8-16.. you really have to use it to see the power of this lens..

this was taken yesterday..

My favorite photo recently taken last week at Kanchanaburi during Songkran.

Converted to b/w using lightroom and adjusted some tonality to give this photo a yester-year feel.

nice freezing of the action.. but imho framing can be a little better, of coz i understand its a split second moment~
and PP can do with a little more punch, but this is just my preference..

for me i find my framing just nice (i did a few burst shots and this was the best).

perhaps did not show the full car body (that is not perfect to you). but for me i dun find it necessarily.

cos the boy throwing the bucket water at the passing car (which explains why the full car is not required to show) but rather the reaction and emotion of the ppl on the car speaks more power.

this is a larger version to let u see those ppl on the car and their emotion.

this photo already done some PP (not shot in monochrome but rather in color but desaturated and tonality adjusted using Lightroom. I did not add noise to this photo cos felt it was not needed. The aim is to give an overall yester-year vintage b/w so i dun requires the photo to be too punchy since its only b/w)
