Hi guys, need some recommendations for a money clip wallet.

Prefer something that is classic, stylish and understated. Went on a viewing trip today, and found that Gucci's is too flimsy and scream-y, Dunhill's is really good but expensive ($470 @ Taka), Mont Blanc's quality is abit suspectful and it seems its not much of an upgrade over BB. Was told by SA that Bally's is sold out. :(

Any recommendations? Budget is around $350+/-. Any notable mentions from LV, BV, Ferragamo, Tod's, Prada, Dior?

Hi guys, currently considering a wallet from Paul Smith. May I know how are the reviews of wallets from Paul Smith? Worth the price? apparently i cant post pics yet =(

I find prada saffiano or BV quality to be quite decent. The rest not so much.

between the 2, the cheaper and "more value for $$$" one would be the Gucci as its priced betw 450 to 550 iirc and ish full leather while the LV DG wallet (taking Multiple for example) ish not full leather but ish canvas material and cost 600 upwards.

Hi everyone,

I am getting a men's wallet soon in replacement of my long due 4 year old Braun Bruffel wallet. Served me well and I really love it much. Am looking at LV Marco wallet and a Gucci variant.

I heard about Gucci having sales every now and then which in a way, looses its value overtime. LV on the other hand, the counterfeit is so saturated on the brand it "kills" the image. All this aside, any experienced forumers here can share some light?

Currently I am leaning towards the LV Daimer Graphite Marco compared to the beige/ebony GG Gucci.

mhmm merfmerf, is leather more durable than canvas? (paiseh never owned a canvas wallet before) i'm stuck between the fact that g loses its value over time, and lv i'm paying more and its not leather :/ how do we use the 'x' thing on one side of the wallet anyway? Wah. I sound too noob le D:

between the 2 brands, alot of pple would def choose ellevvee over zucci for its prestige and stuffs, but if you asked me, why not look at other brands such as BV or Prada? they cost much lesser the LV but comes in full leather while the LV DG Marco isnt.

its true that Gucci does have seasonal sales as well and one should be just round the corner if not already started during the GSS, wether you see this as a thing that "kills" the brand's own image depends on each individual's mindset. sales to others would also mean better affordability too and to them, it def will not "kill" the branding.

anyway back to your choice of wallets, well if your heart is telling you to go with LV, then i believe you should just get it, no pt considering other brands when your heart is more or less firmed. ;)

haha, between the 2, canvas is indeed more durable and lasting as compared to leather, however if you do take care of the leather wallet, it will def go a long way too. as for the multiple's diagonal slots on the right side of the wallet, some would still use them to put folded receipts and stuffs while others will just totally not utilise them altogether.

if you think you will be selling off your wallet eventually in the coming years, then go for the LV as it still has a higher resale as compared to Gucci's.
