Tekster bro, u marketing that? Any indicative price or estimate?

My estimate by recent launches, probably 1300psf. Bedok reserviour launches around 900psf.

i've been using the kiwikleen recommended by uno_bliss. works great so far.
there's also greentea scent.

Hmm, how much per scooba tank? Read this long time ago in 2007, didn't know someone actually use this. :) how about vinegar, anyone using that?

I still like the blue clorox. That's the best!

Thanks for the response guys. Think I will try out kiwikleen first.

Btw, on youtube I see all those video reviews of 380, using the scooba to suck up spilled coke spilled juice on the floor. Do you guys do that? Will it damage or shorten lifespan of the scooba?

What about using scooba on dirty (but dry) bathroom floor full of soap scrubs?

Firstly, u can use any Kiwi Kleen except dark blue OXY FORCE, cos OXY means got bleach. iRobot specifically say no bleach & no wax for Scooba.
So u can use fragrance Green Tea, Lavender, Apple, Morning Spring, Super Active (what I'm using).

Secondly, if u spilled some sweet liquid, using Scooba to clean up that spot WILL work, but I still think Paper Towel will be faster. Considering the sweet stuff will be sucked up by Scooba, a little will be left & scrubbed by Scooba brush, then squeegy up. So u end up with sweet tank, brush & squeegy to rinse clean, ur rear foam tires & front rubber wheel might get the sweet liquid too. But... if u're cleaning whole room anyway, then the rinsing will be worthwhile, and the multiple passes with clean detergent will also gradually "unsweeten" the brush & squeegy.

Lastly, I use Scooba on bathroom tiles, but my soap scum stains are inside the shower area which is shielded by sliding door.
If ur soap stains are all over bathroom, I do not see an issue using Scooba, but do rinse Scooba tank properly to prevent any soap sediments.

By right Kiwi Kleen dilution factor is 1 cap to half bucket (10L water). So for 1L Scooba tank, u should use only 1/10 cap.

I personally using a measuring beaker (can get at neighbourhood sundry shop) and put 20-30ml. Those with the Scooba measuring cup can use 60-70% of the Clorox line indicator.

May I know the Scooba when used in toilet on floor must be 80-90% dry?
Cannot too wet right?
I just imaging the Scooba wheel stuck Spring at there only.
Can't moving ha ha.

But I still didn't try my Scooba used in toilet.

Thanks

iRobot say use Scooba and ur house will be 98% germ free. Actually 90% germs is from toilet, so if u don't use Scooba in toilet, then ur home is at best 8% germ free.

Anyway, Scooba only skid when u use too much detergent. So even if floor is very wet with just plain water, Scooba should work as per normal.

I use Scooba in toilet, kitchen, rooms & hall, ie. fully utilized. Although toilet i put more dilute, and when it gets stuck between toilet bowl & wall, i put a bucket or something to block. At least the bucket still got some use.

Thanks for explaining.

I am also testing my new Roomba 560 now. I been staring at it for past 30 mins vacuuming my very small room. Does it avoid the docking station? I see it like refuses to go near within at least 1 feet of the docking station, so that area around the dock not vacuumed. Hmmmm

Yes, the 1 feet is called "halo" which is like a force field telling the robot "don't knock me down". Virtual wall has "halo" too.
Do not place virtual walls and dock too close together, else ur Roomba might get trapped in "zone of confusion" (this term I came up with, patent pending).

Then there'll always be one 1ft semicircular zone of dusty area on the floor where the dock is. I didnt expect this.

Hi everyone, I need your help. My faithful roomba 560 of 1 year. Seem to be losing some sensor! I bang right into the docking station. Don't seem to be able to detect any infra red signal, including the virtual wall.

Does anyone experiences this before?

Thanks in advance.

Since u've been using for 1 yr, i don't think it's bcos u pasted things to block sensor.
