I bought my 15" MBP's Applecare @ iStudio in Orchard Central about 2 weeks back. I asked the sales staff and there was a 20% discount without purchasing of the machine. Ended up, I paid about S$440.00.

I hope this helps. =)
gonna get my 13" mbp applecare from them soon

Hi all, do yu use a mouse for your Macbook Pro? Thinking of getting a wireless mouse (Magic Mouse). Good option or are there alternatives? Concern only with connectivity and battery.

Yes worth it to get magic mouse :) im using it myself. u would love the multi touch gesture on the mouse :)

connectivity is really good if the battery is not below 10%.. battery is ok u can also buy the wireless charging from DG lifestyle :)

If I am not wrong, it will work save for the multi-touch gestures. You are going to be able to do your normal navigation, but I don't think you will get the two finger swipes and whatnot.

Thk you all for your helpful replies. one last question if i may? For those with the broadband done, don't you find that the USB ports are too close? So much so that one you insert the dangle, you can insert a wired mouse? (macbook pro)

Outlook doesn't run

Noob here. I accidentally shut off the mains for my iMac and when I restarted and click on the outlook icon, it jumps but nothing else happens. Prior to this everything was fine.

I reinstalled office for Mac, restarted, but the same thing happens. I can't see anything else besides the outlook icon jumping.

The apple mail is working fine.

How to get back my outlook?

Feeling frus...with Mac! Help please, tks!

Try to quit your outlook first? Click on the outlook icon, then on your taskbar it should be called outlook, then press command key + Q. It should quit outlook and then re-open it ?

Ok I'll try, but I actually rebooted it twice and still same thing. It's like the outlook is started but ? Hidden- cos I can't see anything happening on the screen.

Everyone told me Mac v easy to use, but I'm finding it tough...:s22:

Somtimes its not as flexible as a Windows PC.

Do you see Outlook when you press cmd+tab ? Or try launching activity monitor and see if Outlook is running ?

Well, if this is your first mac, yes it can be quite uncomfortable to learn it.

Give yourself sometime to do it. Maybe a week or so and keep using it, I guess you will be more comfortable with it.

I feel uncomfortable too. It is my first mac and been using windows all my life. Now I'm using both and it feels good if you know how to do it.

It helps if you use ubuntu before (linux) it's kind of similar. :s13:
