Hi! I have been following this thread since post #1, always read and never reply. Interesting thread. Anyway, I will be going for the event with my friends, mainly to learn more about wine. We love to drink wine but we are newbies. HAHA!

It's great that u started posting! Let us know your wine experiences. Are there any wines that excite u right now? Would u guys be keen in meeting during the wine for Asia event itself?

Hi guys, I can't make it this Sun, have a family thing. Yes, am keen on the Wine for Asia thing, good if we can have a wine outing there and then.

Thinking of popping by later to Carrefour fair too. Saw a shootout on Local Nose's FB or something, about VIP tix for yesterday's VIP night, but couldn't make it, alas. Reign, do share more on your experience!

just went past taka during lunch, and went into the wine shop at basement ... initially just want to check out their bottles, i ended up walking out the store with 3 bottles on hand... bought:

- clos de L'oratoir 2007
- mouton cadet 2008 (80th anniversary edition)

came back office and read the review, feel a bit disappointed with the review for the mouton cadet, but, i will give it a try, who knows... hehe..

@looiwte: it's ok. the WFA should be pretty good. Just get yourself some tickets and so will I, then we can have a great time there.

@reign: IIRC it's on the 29th. I posted a link in the previous page. How was the Carrefour fair?

@MuthuCurry: i try not to read reviews before i drink the wines so i minimize the pre-conceived notions. the Enoteca at taka basement carries a good selection but you gotta look past the stuff they put in the front of the shop. Personally i like their selection of half bottles. if you got the extra money do take a look at some of their higher end italian stuff.
