Which ssd have "most value for money" for mbp (with 120 gb capacity)?
Let's put it this way.. technically, the way they work is totally different.
To the mainboard/CPU, it is just a storage device and makes no difference to them (some H/W or OS may apply optimised settings for SSD or HDD thou, like defrag etc..). or, in very over simplified term, the CPU doesn't know whether it is SSD or HDD, to them, it is a storage device. period.

That means if I can survive within 120gb, I can simply install an ssd and make use of ext hdds, yea?
Just wondering is there any 'preperation' needed when loading os to SSD as boot drive? procedure exactly the same if it was harddisk?

Set to AHCI mode in BIOS before doing your Windows 7 installation. Turn off disk defrag after you finish installing Windows.
