What's your budget? Do you travel overseas a lot or travel within Singapore a lot?

Seems to me PA plans are roughly the same nowadays and the benefits stack. You can also drop/change plans easily after end of each year.

Wonder what others think in this forum: Does it make sense to spend as much time comparing PA as some other types of insurance?

It is still money so yeah people will still compare.

QBE and Tenet would comes to my mind when it comes to PA. QBE is cheap but it only covers the essential. Tenet has a wider range of cover and price is reasonable. You can even claim on food poisoning from the Tenet plan.

Since you are in the spirit of shopping for PA plans...

Look into Manulife's mPal. CHEAPEST of its class (at least that's what I've been shown in the product training). It's a door opener plan for Manulife - which means they deliberately make it the cheapest so that you might want to consider other of their plans in the future.

PM me if you need the product details, I got tons of it.

And please let us know what product you finally go down with, thanks! :s7:

Mind if we do a (very rough) comparison? Would be interesting for me as well. I personally find Tenet's PA to be one of the better ones.

SA: $300K for accidental death/permanent disablement
Class 1

Etiqa: $32/mth
Prudential: $51/mth (double payout if private conveyance accident, triple payout if public conveyance accident)

PA also got diff kinds? what are you looking at?
1) pure accidental death and disablement?
2) or you want accidental death, disablement with medical expense reimbursement and benefits for fractures, burns and dislocation plus hospital benefit when contracted dengue fever and food poisoning and tcm benefit?

recently China Taiping got promotions right? Something like 20% discount or what.

What do you think of their PA product, premium pricing and claims experience?

thats why lor... most of the time consumers just buy the cheapest insurance product without finding out what are covered or not covered. Pay liao then cannot claim.

38 Ngee Ann Poly Students Sent to hospital after Bee Attack <--- Tenet PAStar would have to pay for that if the insured is covered under it. :p
