I came to here thru you YouTube-video of the Gemei G2, seasoncrystal (nice work, btw!).

I see you got it running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
I was thinking on getting a China Tablet now, just to play around with. Just a few questions about your opinion.
I've been looking at the Gemei G2, the Ainol Novo7 Paladin and Novo7 Advanced mainly. I like the cameras and the A10 processor of the N7A, but I don't want that many touchbuttons on the right side of the screen. And why is there so little supply around? Do they have problems with production? The Gemei G2 packs less buttons and also a camera, running on the same processor but with 1GB RAM instead of 512MB. The Xburst processor on the Paladin is pretty nice, but I think the A10 performens better, making it possible to decode 2160p, which is awesome. It's a tough choice. All of these can be bought at
Pandawill.com , with free intl. shipping and applying a -5% coupon (site is fairly slow though). I also think
Buy Chinese Mobile Phones, Android Tablet & Apple Ipad, Car DVD Player is a good one. What are your thoughts on the Teclast P76Ti? That one could be okay too, but I don't like white coloured tablets. Then I would rather get a LY-F1 Tablet PC which seems okay, but I never heard of it before. It packs a 4000mAh battery like the Novo7, and unlike the mere 3200mAh of the Gemei G2 and Teclast.
What would you suggest is the best ICS capable Chinese tablet out there at the moment? Or the one which is best value for money?
lol I didn't recall putting a link on youtube to here^^; Those videos are taken from China streaming sites for easier sharing to the bros here
Novo7 Aavanced was supposed to end production last month, but the International sales was so good that Ainol made another 1000 sets earlier this month. Not sure if the 1000 were sold yet.
The reason is Ainol has plans to expand its Novo7 series for Q1 of 2012. On slatedroid someone mentioned that there'll be a IPS screen Novo7 out on 5th Jan. He mentioned the source came somewhere on Merimobiles. So it's still a rumors, as the earlier rumors was that the new Novo7 tablets will be in around Feb 2012.

Gemei G2 is the 1st 7" 1GB RAM Allwinner A10 tablet I know of. 1GB RAM does seems to improve the performance of Allwinner A10. However it has a shortcoming similar to P76Ti, and that is the 3200mAh battery. The actual usage might be too little. which is about 3.5-4.5hrs.
P76Ti is one of the hot Allwinner A10 favourites in China. It's along side with Onda Vx610W. The reason is mainly due to their cheap price, which is 499 RMB. Onda Vx610W lacks HDMI though.
As for Xburst (Novo7P and Novo7B) I would avoid till they improve the apps compatibility. Allwinner A10 is a better choice due to it's video capabilities, but it's not the best choice. Especially so with newer dual-core tablets coming out in Q1 of 2012
LY-F1 is from the same company who makes GTPad, which is LYXZ. I think it's more like a Shanzhai company. It's supposed to have ICS firmware update later. Problem with smaller China tablet company is always the support they give.
Based on your write out I believe you had done some research. You should be able to make a good decision on which tablet is best for u

I'm not sure how tech savvy you are, but do consider in the online community support too.
The problem with China tablets is most users are Chinese, you can't get community support unless you buy the tablets most International users go for. But if you are tech savvy, the problems you faced on China tablets could be fun to tackle with
Currently Allwinner A10 tablets with good online community is Novo7A, then Momo9c (with it's clones), then Onda Vi series. Currently I'm more geared up towards the upcoming 999 RMB 9.7" IPS screen tablets, which is Onda Vi40 Elite and Bmorn V99 deluxe/plus. These are Allwinner A10 & 1GB RAM with 9.7" IPS screen. I find them to be best value for me in Q1 of 2012
That's unless SmartQ Ten3 decides to join the 999 or 1299 price, then it'll be the best value tablet for me
Good luck getting your tablet.
