My OC says get a 9.7" instead, at least when I'm done playing can give her mum:s13: Since she hates Teclast A10 design and likes momo11 one.. only one choice lor. Sigh~

Anyway, placed order for momo11 liao, PRAY I get a good set:s8: Also pray the seller I found is not out of stock...

IF I get, I will review. This was from the refund I gotten for the SN10T2. Until they confirm and purchase, it doesn't mean I would have it lol

I really want to know the real weight of momo11, cause Ployer stated it's only 550g lol

G2 with sgshop <S$160 self-collect bah. Cost you need add domestic shipping. Try look at International sellers also, sometime it'll be cheaper;)

u wont regret getting momo11 over telcast A10, momo design and build quality is so much better than telcast.
but for now, 9.7 ips china tablet, the best build n look i think is Aoson M19 :)

Both these tablets are from the same factory, they are equally bad:s8: I'm relying on Teclast A10 firmwares if Ployer decides to play the delay firmware or stop firmware support game like with it's previous products.

<1500 RMB, IMO currently best build goes to Ten2. (actually should be SN10T2 but it's not a China tablet) Design wise it's subjected to invidual. To me M19 just looks like a slimmer M12 which fails to live up to it's expectations. Some features promised in their pre-released advertising were not met.

edit: If build & design (no price range), I think best is Malata T8

Indeed Momo11 specs are very attactive with in 16gb memory & 1gb ram. The build also look good, the down side i see is the battery only 6000mAH. So far is there any review on this?

u maybe rite they r from same factory, but design and material used r definitely different.from my experience with both brands, their firmware are not exchangeable. momo11 has physical volume button but not a10

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this thread.

I am quite surprised by the low price of the china tablets. I would like to ask if Gemei G2 supports english in the OS?

Seems very tempting. I can buy it in a few clicks!

Buy China tablets don't be so rush^^; Gemei G2 runs on Allwinner A10 Cortex A8. Allwinner A10 tablets all uses the base firmware by Allwinner. So there is English option in settings.

Though G2 seems to be selling well, but not many International users. So if anything, you are on your own. Or you'll need to look at Novo7A or Onda Vi series users to try help u. Even that you may not get your problem 100% solved.

Also look at the battery life. See if 3-5hrs game play is sufficient for you. Also on your usage. If it's for ebook and reading then you'll likely need a 1024x600/768 resolution screen.

So what I'm saying is do your own research and consider carefully before u buy.;)

Teclast P76Ti cannot work on Momo9c due to touchscreen invert. They are from same factory, but due to Allwinner A10, the firmware still loads.

Unlike RK2918 firmwares, there's more customization. U9GT2 firmware can't load on Momo11/Teclast A10. But U9GT2 and N90 will likely work as they should be from same factory. Just like Momo11 & Teclast. This is one of the ways to tell if the tablets are from same source.

A lot are OEMs, it doesn't mean Momo11 & Teclast A10 is same factory, P76Ti and momo9 has to be same factory. The companies mainly due with the supports.

Screen maybe different as Teclast uses LG and I can't find LG on Momo11 (based on disassembly vid). But the digitalizer is likely to be the same, that's why the firmware works. I'll give u that the design is different so the fell will be.

As for physical buttons can get it to work easily:D Yesterday I just loaded Teclast official ICS firmware onto Novo7A. I can get the physicla buttons to work on Novo7A in less than 10mins. Touch button and inverted touchscreen I was too lazy to look at what i need to do to get it to work.

This is also why I can tell u the white garbage screen whenever u rotate due to Mali-400 on the trail ICS is fixed :)

edit: BTW why I'm so sure the firmware works? cause someone already reviewed on it on boxing day. The camera won't work on Momo11 with Teclast A10 firmware, but I think that should be an easy fix. Should be the same fix I did on my Novo7A 2.0V3 script to make Skype camera work. Unless it's a driver file then it can be messy^^;

Momo11 for me is a toy to play, I know it's pro & con based on my extensive read-ups. Also the fact I have refunds on sgshop and my wife 3 qipaos with sgshop waiting to collect with my tablet:s13:

Ployer service seems to had improved :) They must really like Momo11, 1st time I see them reacting so fast to their customer feedbacks. Their firmware updates use to be really slow:s13: Hope they keep it up and not "5mins fever";)

I came to here thru you YouTube-video of the Gemei G2, seasoncrystal (nice work, btw!). :D I see you got it running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

I was thinking on getting a China Tablet now, just to play around with. Just a few questions about your opinion.

I've been looking at the Gemei G2, the Ainol Novo7 Paladin and Novo7 Advanced mainly. I like the cameras and the A10 processor of the N7A, but I don't want that many touchbuttons on the right side of the screen. And why is there so little supply around? Do they have problems with production? The Gemei G2 packs less buttons and also a camera, running on the same processor but with 1GB RAM instead of 512MB. The Xburst processor on the Paladin is pretty nice, but I think the A10 performens better, making it possible to decode 2160p, which is awesome. It's a tough choice. All of these can be bought at Pandawill.com , with free intl. shipping and applying a -5% coupon (site is fairly slow though). I also think Buy Chinese Mobile Phones, Android Tablet & Apple Ipad, Car DVD Player is a good one. What are your thoughts on the Teclast P76Ti? That one could be okay too, but I don't like white coloured tablets. Then I would rather get a LY-F1 Tablet PC which seems okay, but I never heard of it before. It packs a 4000mAh battery like the Novo7, and unlike the mere 3200mAh of the Gemei G2 and Teclast.

What would you suggest is the best ICS capable Chinese tablet out there at the moment? Or the one which is best value for money?

"According to DigiTimes, Apple will unveil two versions of its next-generation tablet next month at the Macworld|iWorld conference. Sources at Apple's supply chain partners tell the blog that the new models will target the mid- and high-end markets, while the existing iPad 2 will be positioned to compete with the Amazon Kindle Fire."

Does that mean apple is going to lower iPad2 closer to the Fire? Heh.

lol I didn't recall putting a link on youtube to here^^; Those videos are taken from China streaming sites for easier sharing to the bros here:D

Novo7 Aavanced was supposed to end production last month, but the International sales was so good that Ainol made another 1000 sets earlier this month. Not sure if the 1000 were sold yet.

The reason is Ainol has plans to expand its Novo7 series for Q1 of 2012. On slatedroid someone mentioned that there'll be a IPS screen Novo7 out on 5th Jan. He mentioned the source came somewhere on Merimobiles. So it's still a rumors, as the earlier rumors was that the new Novo7 tablets will be in around Feb 2012.
Ainol Novo 7 Super IPS screen

Gemei G2 is the 1st 7" 1GB RAM Allwinner A10 tablet I know of. 1GB RAM does seems to improve the performance of Allwinner A10. However it has a shortcoming similar to P76Ti, and that is the 3200mAh battery. The actual usage might be too little. which is about 3.5-4.5hrs.

P76Ti is one of the hot Allwinner A10 favourites in China. It's along side with Onda Vx610W. The reason is mainly due to their cheap price, which is 499 RMB. Onda Vx610W lacks HDMI though.

As for Xburst (Novo7P and Novo7B) I would avoid till they improve the apps compatibility. Allwinner A10 is a better choice due to it's video capabilities, but it's not the best choice. Especially so with newer dual-core tablets coming out in Q1 of 2012;)

LY-F1 is from the same company who makes GTPad, which is LYXZ. I think it's more like a Shanzhai company. It's supposed to have ICS firmware update later. Problem with smaller China tablet company is always the support they give.

Based on your write out I believe you had done some research. You should be able to make a good decision on which tablet is best for u :) I'm not sure how tech savvy you are, but do consider in the online community support too.

The problem with China tablets is most users are Chinese, you can't get community support unless you buy the tablets most International users go for. But if you are tech savvy, the problems you faced on China tablets could be fun to tackle with:D

Currently Allwinner A10 tablets with good online community is Novo7A, then Momo9c (with it's clones), then Onda Vi series. Currently I'm more geared up towards the upcoming 999 RMB 9.7" IPS screen tablets, which is Onda Vi40 Elite and Bmorn V99 deluxe/plus. These are Allwinner A10 & 1GB RAM with 9.7" IPS screen. I find them to be best value for me in Q1 of 2012:D

That's unless SmartQ Ten3 decides to join the 999 or 1299 price, then it'll be the best value tablet for me=:p

Good luck getting your tablet.
