You need to be discipline to be in uol.my friend dropped out and switch to rmit.it's individual choice actually.at the end of the day it's you who determine the result.

Make it short.
Uol=a level format. one exam determine all
Rmit=poly style.project and exam based.

I was from uol accountancy and finance.
I didnt like uol style as putting all your eggs in 1 basket. 3hours exam determine your 1 yr effort.
Unlike degree with course works,degree w/o coursework like uol emphasize alot on the theories and thus need alot of memory work. Like memorizing definitions etc.
Secondly, consistency in uol is not enough. U need to hv gd command in english. Uol qns tend to be indirect n hard to comprehend thus, u might noe the solutns but u r binded by the comprehension of the qn which led u to be unable to answer.
If u r confuse ,mayb u would like to look at their past yr papers before finalizing ur decision n see which is the style u like.

Hi All,

I am applying to SIM-RMIT Business (Accountancy) for July 2012 intake, Application start 1 Feb 2012-25 April 2012. So All the best for everyone!

hi guys, i want to apply for sim-rmit business (accountancy).

ord-ing in end of may. seems like alot of people are taking up this degree.

those currently studying, hows the timetable like? cause was thinking able to 1/2 work 1/2 study or not.

to those who applied, how's the handling of the hardcopy papers like? Fast? within 10 days of submitting ur online application right?

i think, i will take management.. in poly i did bs, majoring marketing, i dun think i want to study the same thing again. its all the same modules.

Likewise. As in, i most probably will be taking management as well. I'm actually into marketing, but then after looking at the modules offered by both degrees, i think management looks easier to score for me. Moreover, i guess they will allow us to choose one specialisation in the final year? Just like your poly? Then maybe that's when i will choose marketing :)

Anyway, i have got a diploma in business IT from TP, so does that mean that i will only need to spend 1.5 years to pursue the degree? Same to you? Anw, which poly were you from? I wanted to take Business Studies back then too. But apparently, i made the wrong choice. haha :s13:

Ooh! Uh, I heard from my friend who's in her 2nd semester (Full Time) that they have to write essayssss with 2k+ words each :s31: Then don't have any project works yet. Also heard from other people that there's alot of project at the later stage, not sure how im gonna cope with my work x.x

Anyway have you applied already?
