What do you mean by auto-shut off? Maybe you are experiencing reception problems due to our lousy local networks.
Like after 10 mins i get the notification on top of the screen "Data traffic is disabled". I seriously doubt so that since my data traffic is getting cut off like every 10-15 mins.

No such experience. Maybe you need to pay a visit to service center or just flash your firmware.

Yes, it have problems reading the eMMC. To avoid problems like this, I keep some frequently used apps in phone memory storage.

End of the day, it's no use comparing who have the better battery life. Battery life depend on how you tune your phone too. But as the battery do a few charge and discharge, it should get better.

another way is go for paid full version appls
as free appls usually got ads
as ads drains more data and also battery too as it need to load ads
beside killing processa nd lower brighthess and swtich to 2g
and user lesser notifactions..like facebook and pushmails and whatsppls

Cell standby 30%
Phone idle 17%

I have been moderately using Whatsapp, SMS, Dolphin Browser, Draw Something, FB. With wifi off and 40% brightness. I do switch off data connection during sleep-time though.

That's very impressive! My battery seem to drain alot while idling at night... consume about 20 - 30% over night. Very strange.

Mine previously was also like that. Go update your phone's firmware to 6.0.A.3.73. It helps resolves that issue.

Due to the on-screen yellow patch issue, I had sent in my handset last Sunday (1.4.2012) and was told that it would take "at least 3 working days or more".

10 minutes ago, I received a call from Bishan Junction 8 SE Centre telling me the spare parts have not arrived and it will take another 7 to 14 working days!

WTF...
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

I'm starting to wonder if SONY actually have solved this issue yet.

Situation like this, go down, take back the phone, when the replacement is here, then change.
