beta as in not padavan, but a firmware I added the Starhub Maxinfinity presets in and got Asus to help me compile.

its the official 1.0.1.8e with Maxinfinity presets added in.

New StarHub MaxInfinity preset beta. Those concerned, please help to test. Note that this firmware may not work as intended with regards to Digital Voice if my assumptions are wrong, since the info from weap0nx seems to indicate some uncertainty with the VoIP VLAN info. I am just taking a stab here with VID 1095 PRIO 1 for this beta.

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BwoI4L1-ZubFSFIxT19DUExLQzg

ps: compiled by Asus rather than myself, since I had some problems with my build environment, and I have no time to spare to redo my vm for the third time.

Purpose of the above firmware is to test and confirm specifically two things: Digital Voice parameters and if different MaxInfinity plans use different VLAN IDs. Please report what SH plan you are using, and whether internet/voip works as intended.

Talking about the above, not padavan firmware, just to be clear.

It means I cant confirm VoIP then, since this is the part of the puzzle that is still unconfirmed at the moment.

Feel free to try the beta though, at the least, I am expecting internet to work with the preset (port 3 may be unavailable though).

If you do try it out, do indicate if you have to input MAC address to work, and which MaxInfinity plan you are on.

Hope someone on N56U + VoIP comes by so I can see if VoIP works.

hammee i got one more question. i got a ddns address from dyndns.org. It is in the form name.homelinux.org. I am trying to add the ddns to the ASUS router, such that when i type that domain name, it redirects to my ASUS built in ftp server. is there a way to do that? :s12:

I beginning to suspect my DC problem is due to WAN ip lease expiring. I notice it been happening every 4 hours and the lease time happen to be 14400 seconds as well

If you are using Dlink, is your DOS protection or DMZ enabled?

ONT>Dlink>homeplug>homeplug>PC
previously was 30+mbps, now it's only as seen above... upload speed faster than dl speed summore. I even bought the new 115EP homeplugs to try no diff.
and my homeplug light is permanently red. last time use mio home no such issue.

direct wifi is around 40mbps only...

Red is no good, too much "noise". Go locate a power point that gives you green.

My setup:

ONT > HL115EP > HL125G > DLink > Mac/PC(wired)

Green: 60 - 80Mbps
Red: 10 - 20Mbps

Good luck.

DiSable the DMZ, ur disconnection shod b ok.

Now I using Asus 56U direct. Same issue. Now monitoring for peak hour DHCP lease release.

When there is not much traffic I get to keep my same IP.

When peak hour. When the lease is up... my IP will get changed. Thats where my disconnection came from

hope you connect your homeplugs directly from a wall socket and not through a power strip.
